10/10, did multi-sport tour. Would first like to note that this day was not initially open for the tour but after emailing and asking they agreed to take myself, boyfriend and friend. Not only was the area exceptional - clear water and trees from movie scenes- but it was so much fun, I feel like this was such a cool alternative to see the redwoods aside from setting out on a hike. Josh and his dog Annie were cherries on top. Cali vibe - super chill, cared about the environment, didn’t rush. Also, lunch was actual food. I feel like when you’re offered a sack lunch on a tour like this often times it is extremely low quality. This food was actually enjoyable. Fresh carrots, strawberries, dips, and of course fresh avocado.

If you have not went kayaking on your Redwood Vacation this is an absolute must. Jason and Paul were excellent guides. Answered all of our questions and made the trip such an amazing experience. We took our three boys and had an absolute blast. Tons of wildlife along with views of the forest that are not accessible without a kayak. We even did some cliff jumping. This was definitely the highlight of our trip. Make sure to request Jason and Paul if they are available.

Did 1/2 day kayak trip. Perfect! Met up at 9:30am. Everyone dropped their cars off at their take-out (different for full day and 1/2 day) and shuttle van took us to put-in. Got on the water around 10:40am. Spent ~40min exploring the Redwoods area, then back on the water for another 40 minutes before take-out. Finished around 1:45pm. Water overall easy to navigate and relaxing! Beginner friendly when I went at peak summer season. Great friendly staff set us up with clear instructions. They are invested to ensure you have a good time! Enjoy!

We were in the area and needed a river fix. These guys were accommodating to our needs and willing to go the extra mile to make sure any failure of a good time would be completely on us. Was a fantastic experience and so much fun! Did a half day whitewater trip in early March. We are true beginners in rafting and our guides made sure we were properly equipped and gave great instruction before we left shore. Water flow was good from recent rains and the class 3 rapids were a ton of fun for my family. Along with the incredible scenery, it was a perfect trip. Would definitely go with Redwood Rides again!

Ryan is great. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the area’s geology and wildlife and down to earth. 100% would recommend. I wish we would have opted to do the longer trip.

We had an absolutely amazing experience. Our guide, Joe, walked us through everything we needed to know beforehand. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. He really helped my wife and daughter, who had never kayaked before. We did the 3-hour trip in the afternoon on the Smith River, and it was beautiful. For this trip, Redwood Rides provided all the necessary equipment that we needed, with the exception of our bathing suits. This trip was perfect for families with young kids. At the halfway point, we got out of our kayaks and walked into the Redwood Forest. It was beautiful.

Just do it! We did a half day kayak trip on the Smith River where it joins middle fork. The river is some of the prettiest water I've seen. It's very blue and clear. The redwoods surrounding it are beautiful. Lauren was our guide and was a ton of fun. We loved it so much we went again and took friends. Must do if you're in the area. We went April 29. It was wasn't cold at all. They provide wet suit, neoprene booties, splash jackets and fleece layers. These photos have not been edited.
