I stayed here for one night with my wife and three kids, mainly because they offer a 2-bedroom suite. Overall it was totally fine, and I appreciate that it had the big suite, which is hard to find. Everything was clean and the rooms had a full kitchen, plus there was a marketplace downstairs with quick meals and snacks for the kids. But the property was also a bit tired—the doors didn’t close properly, and the tub didn’t drain well, among other minor things. If you have modest expectations and want a big room or kitchen, it’s a good choice.

Stayed here on a business trip. Location was very close and convenient for where I needed to be and there is a plaza with groceries and nice restaurants. The hotel lobby is nice but the rooms could be improved. Most of the hotels in the area are not great or overpriced. No complementary water bottles and they were out of complimentary toothpaste. All in all, not a bad option given the alternatives but definitely some opportunity to improve!

Admittedly I was hesitant to stay here because of the recent reviews, but we kept our reservation because we wanted a 2-bedroom suite. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the suite, the friendliness of the staff and the breakfast in the morning. The room was a bit dated, but definitely clean.

I stay in this hotel frequently with my family living in Cleveland; I think it's a good deal. And what I love most about this hotel is the rooms are so quiet, you hear nothing! Love this. And, I am also very impressed with the front office staff, particularly Kierra and Jarrett. Kierra always possesses a pleasant personality and always makes things right if there is a concern, manager material! She has the right business acumen and customer service. Jarrett is also steeped in customer service and has excellent follow-up for any request initiated. Manager material, too! The hotel and rooms are very clean, and everyone knows their job! If I have one thing to say to improve upon, it is for the breakfast that is served daily: don't overcook the sausage, and always have coffee and cream ready to go.

Convenient location, close to lots of food and shopping and the highway. The rooms are large and provide a lot of amenities (full stocked kitchen, spacious living room, big bathrooms, etc) . Lots of parking, big breakfast area (not a lot of choices, but still good), and nice outdoor rec area with pool and fire pit. Outdated furnishings, carpet, and the windows are dingy, but overall for the convenience of having a kitchen and great location, very worth it.

The room itself is nice and spacious. I got the King Suite. Has a kitchen and all the appliances, dishwasher, stove, full sized fridge etc.....Residence Inn has to update their hotel. The refrigerator made a loud humming sound the whole night. The TV's are atleast 15 years old by the make and bulky model. The toilet whined for 5 minutes after every flush. The coffee maker is a weird model (get a Keurig and get with the times) The little interaction I had from the hotel staff was when I went to breakfast. One of the staff was sitting in the breakfast area with her phone, playing loud videos from it, while we were all watching the news. Very rude and very unprofessional. It's a nice hotel but they need to update their appliances and maybe do a better job at teaching appropriate manners to the staff. 3/5 stars

Her politeness and kindness were remarkable, as she expertly guided my family and me on the best places to explore in Cleveland. I am truly grateful that Kiara was part of the staff, as her assistance greatly contributed to making our stay in Cleveland, Ohio, an unforgettable experience.

While I can see online that Residence has become very updated as far as rooms. As a helper for Delivering for Uber and I LOVED walking in the Lobby! Except I was NOT greeted upon entering. Then as I am waiting on an employee to come and grab her lunch... I couldn't believe what i heard , "Can they keep the noise down out there my God it would be greatly appreciated!" I was confused at first because it was quiet! Then a male employee said in what sounded like a sarcastic tone said "Yeah we are trying to work here!" Still confused slightly, the woman began again " why must they shovel right outside my window it is so disruptive to my day!" I couldn't believe what I had heard. What I can only assume to be an upper management being as she wasin her office) lady complaining about shoveling the sidewalks outside her window (which are along the MAIN ENTRANCE TO HER HOTEL(the one she manages, works or runs)) SO what I had just heard her say was "Even thought we are getting dumped on by snow since last night PLEASE for the Love of Myself DO shovel softer or don't shovel while I am working because ensuring the Customers Saftey when walking on ice and snow into our hotel is during their stay is NOT NEARLY AS IMPORTANT as NOT DISRUPTING MY DAMN DAY! Thank You Jesus I was not a potential customer or client I would have walked right out the door. Nobody and I mean nobody should hear you speaking like that especially over shoveling or just keeping people safe who enter your hotel. I will not ever stay there. I would not want to disrupt her day!
