We were staying at the Residence Inn for Five months while our house was under repair. I can't express enough how great it was being there surrounded by a staff that cares for their guest. We were always treated so kindly and accommodated when we needed something. Morning and night staff at the front desk, the maintenance crew, and housekeeping everyone was just the sweetest. It was a bittersweet moment when we left. I highly recommend this place. It's not the most modern but it is the most friendliest and cozy. Thank you Residence Inn of Danbury for making our experience a lot less stressful than it could've been. Happy new year to you all!

The staff is really nice here. The rooms are very large and clean and we loved the location. Breakfast was fantastic and a great steak house is right next door! We were very comfortable here. I left some clothing in the room and the front desk shipped it back to me. This is a great place

Super friendly and efficient staff. We had a reservation and a couple of days before it I received a message from the hotel informing us the pool would be out of service for repair. Although this was disappointing I appreciate the proactiveness to let us know ahead of time of this before having a bad surprise at check in. When I asked about the options for cancellation given this (we were traveling with children and the pool was a must), Briana, the manager, was extremely friendly and efficient to accommodate this request without any type of attitude. I truly appreciate their proactiveness, friendliness, and efficiency. It's too bad we were not able to experience the hotel, but I'm sure given the experience I had interacting with them through this circumstance, the hotel is very well managed.

I recently got married in Newtown, CT and was having an incredibly hard time finding hotels close by - especially ones that would offer a room block for my guests. Residence Inn of Danbury was more than happy to accommodate my guests and were extremely easy to work with for my wedding! Upon arrival, the manager (Gohal) went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional! All of our guests loved him. Any request we had, he made it happen. He even was able to help me get an additional room last minute on the day of my wedding - despite the fact that it seemed as though they were fully booked online!
Yes, the rooms and facilities could use some updating in comparison to other Residence Inns I have stayed in however we all found our rooms to be extremely clean and well kept. For Danbury hotels, this would be at the top of my list! Thank you again to Gohal and his team!

I’ve stayed here multiple times. TVs didn’t work, building is run down, rooms were old and gross and they have the audacity to charge over $350 a night. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. This is complete price gouging and it shouldn’t be allowed given the state of the hotel. I’ve stayed at way nicer hotels that have less stars for an appropriate price.

Is it the nicest hotel you can find? No, could the rooms be updated a little bit? Absolutely. Do they have one of the kindest staffs? Without a doubt, extremely friendly staff who make your stay feel very comfortable. I’ve been here on and off for a month and half for work and the Manager is an extremely friendly man who is always smiling. The staff are always welcoming saying good morning and always happy. If you ask for more towels they will be to your room within 5 minutes. Would absolutely recommend and would be happy to stay in again.
