Definitely recommend. I am a self reliant individual and intermediate homesteader. The survival course was a lot of fun! Tons of great information. Maybe too much information, but for good reasons. I don’t think Joe took a breath. He was funny, professional, and patient with everyone. There were some primitive survival techniques shown and discussed which was cool, even though those aren’t mentioned in the overview. This course hammers home global survival principles. Some really good techniques and lessons that will help me be successful as an outdoor enthusiast and homesteader.

Highly recommended. I signed my wife and I up for the basic pistol. She's never shot before and her nerves were through the roof. I shoot mainly for hunting practice, and I typically carry my pistol when I am out and about. Now that we have completed the course, I realize the importance and accountability of carrying an EDC, being responsible for my rounds, and the moral and legal implications. We both feel more confident. Lots of great information and techniques were taught. Definitely a higher level of input was provided and way above my skill level, but the basics were hammered and beat like a dead horse. If you haven't taken a shooting course, I definitely recommend it. Great training!

Best Experience! Joe was recommended by hunting buddy and guide. My wife and I flew out from Idaho for the survival and navigation course, plus some extra training. I did coordinate with Joe to stay an extra day for additional training after the course, but due to both of our schedules, 2.5 days was the all we could fit in. I wish this was a 5-7 day course, but I understand the logistics and land use issues that were mentioned. Joe was a phenomenal instructor and fun. He had many stories and taught so much in such little time. I’d recommend this course to anyone trying to build confidence in the outdoors, hunters, hikers, fisherman, overlanders, all would benefit from it. Joe, if you and your family are ever in Idaho, feel free to stop out for a steak and bourbon. We have more than just potatoes.

Great course! My husband and I both signed up for the basic pistol training. This course was super fun, educational, and safe. I have never shot before and my husband doesn't shoot very often. The instructors were very patient with us and extremely knowledgeable. We left feeling confident and eager to shoot more often. Lots of information was presented, but at a level that was digestible.

I own a small business with eight employees. We travel throughout the US, sometimes internationally. I met Joe while he was active duty and hired him for an internship during his transition. During his internship I found out that he owned a survival and security company and was doing consulting on the side. I asked him if he could offer some training for our team. I won’t go into full detail, but we learned an immense amount regarding survival, safety, protection, preparedness, and response. As a business owner I truly understand the responsibility and “the care of duty” that I have for my employees more so now than ever before. I cannot recommend Joe and Resolute Guardian enough! He is knowledgeable and incredibly passionate about what he does!

Highly Recommend! I took a new position as a real estate agent and sales, and I am on the road three months out of the year. I have always considered getting some level of self-defense or security training but never made it a priority. I called Joe explaining what type of training I was hoping for. He setup a modified traveler’s course and a day of shooting. I cannot advocate for the training enough. As I was driving back home I was in awe of how much knowledge and information I digested in such a short time. Real skills that can be applied anywhere. I will plan, think, and travel completely differently now! Thanks Joe

Definitely Recommend this training! Absolute blast! My kids and I signed up for the survival course. Even though there were some park restrictions that limited what we could do, the course was very enjoyable, educational, and challenging. We had lots of fun together, bonded as a family, learned a lot, and left feeling 100 times more confident. The information and experience was worth every cent. My kids are eager to do more hiking and camping this year.
