First day on the water, four kids in the car, lunches packed only to find out Rex Service dept didn't to the basic commissioning of my boat by the date they committed. I talked to them 10 days ago and they ensured me it would be ready this weekend. If you are choosing a new marina I would look past Rex for a company that cares about customer commitments. Kids spent the day on iPad instead. Great first day on the sound! Thanks Rex!!!

These guys know their stuff, I had an issue with my boat three years ago brought it to three different marinas (Yamaha service centers/ authorized dealers) before spend a fortune all they did through parts at the problem-guessing game with 0 results, these guys were able to diagnose it within a week where the other marinas had my boat for months at a time, they definitely know their stuff and they have the right technicians on staff… I dealt with Jeff in the service department he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I only wish I would’ve brought my boat to them from the very beginning when I had the problem, would’ve saved me a lot of money and tremendous amount of time and aggravation…

I brought in my boat to get wrapped and winterized. I dropped it off in the evening and was instructed to leave it and call the service department in the morning to tell them exactly what I want done to the boat. The next morning I called and I was told by a different lady that I needed to come in in order to tell the service department what I wanted. First off, this was during the covid pandemic, second I live over an hour away. It would be very simple to email them or talk to them over the phone to tell them what I want. However the lady was very rude in not caring about the situation and replying to me “we close at 4 so you better get down here if you want your boat done” with no regards to how far away I live and the covid pandemic. However, I was finally able to contact someone in the service department and I was able to send him an email detailing what work I wanted done to the boat, thankfully I did not have to drive over an hour to let them know of the work I wanted done. Clearly the employees here are not on the same page. Unfortunately the frustration does not end here. I paid for the work over the phone and planned on picking the boat up on a Sunday. Online it said they close at 3pm. I called to make sure they were open and the recording said they were busy assisting another customer so I believed they were open. I took the hour and 15 minute drive to find out they were actually closed. I arrived around 1pm, their website and even the sign on the door said they were open till 3pm on Sunday. I called again and the recording said the same thing. It never said they were closed. I’m not sure if they were even open on Sunday at all. Thanks for giving out misinformation and having me drive over 2 and half hours for no reason. Overall this place is not managed well and the employees are not on the same page. Not to mention the high cost of all the work done. I will it be using Rex marina for any reason and I do not recommend anyone else as well.

The best parts counter guy ever"Mike". Always goes out of his way to make sure you get the correct parts. Extremely knowledgeable. I hope he makes a few hundred thousand dollars a year, he deserves it!

I want to thank Bill Gardella for helping me out in a pinch. Needed fuel late in the day, Norwalk Cove Marina was closed at 5pm (website says 6pm), so I called Rex Marine. Despite not being a RM customer, Bill invited me over to RM, rode his bike down to the dock to meet me, and filled my tank. I wasn’t previously a RM customer but with friendly, helpful people like Bill working there I will be in the future and encourage others as well. Thanks Bill!
