I give Rick's deli a five star review. From the moment I walked in with the atmosphere, and the food is delicious great experience. The owner Rick is very nice and welcoming so is his staff. He also runs specials everyday so you know what he's having during the week outside of other food you can order . I love his chicken salad, I go at least once or twice a week to get it. Everything I eat there is great and fresh, I would highly recommend to try Rick's Deli I think you will agree and want to become a regular and tell others. You won't be disappointed all around a great experience,will continue to go back. If you don't give them a try you're missing out. Again 5 star rating.

Rick’s Freshmade did an amazing job catering my daughter’s baby shower! Everyone enjoyed it! The food was beautifully set up and delicious! They communicated so well and were very punctual and reliable. They were also so very helpful during the event. I highly recommend them!

Disappointing Experience at Freshmade

My husband and I were craving fresh, locally made deli sandwiches—not something from a commercial sub chain—so we decided to try Freshmade based on its high ratings. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype.

Upon entering, there was no greeting from the staff, which immediately set the tone. The display case wasn’t appealing, making it unclear if they even served fresh deli meats. The menu was only displayed on the wall and was somewhat confusing to navigate.

That day, they were advertising a brisket sandwich special, but they had already run out. We then asked for roast beef sandwiches, only to be told that different specials are available on different days. At this point, the lack of clear communication and customer service was frustrating. To top it off, instead of offering fresh sandwiches, they tried to sell us frozen meat—completely missing the mark on what we came for.

Disappointed, we left without making a purchase. Based on this experience, we wouldn’t return or recommend Freshmade to anyone looking for a true deli experience.

Not at all a place for dining in, Rick's is mostly a take it and go kind of place with a smattering of seats along the window (six max). The sandwiches are very good but $7 for a simple grilled cheese is way too much. I'm getting tired of all these places that think they are notable and one of kind. Because they aren't; they're overpriced joints with good, not great, food.

This is a must stop kind of place. My sandwich, that was made by Rick, was delicious. Cute store with the friendliest staff. I would eat here all the time if I lived anywhere near it.

Update:
Stopped at Rick's on my way through Ohio this year. The store had expanded its menu, the food is still so good. I had a custom turkey sandwich and my fiance had a Italian sub. We sat outside and enjoyed our food and the weather.

Rick works tirelessly to make the BEST sandwiches in Pickerington, and great customer service is included just like the pickle. Fast, fresh, and served with a smile, I can’t recommend Rick’s Freshmade enough!

Ricks is one of a kind and a great addition to Pickerington! We love all the sandwiches and the sides are very tasty! Great portions, all made fresh to order with friendly service! If you are lucky enough to catch them on a Brisket day, I recommend ordering a few of them! Support local, its well worth it!

I started coming to ricks over a year ago. I come every single day possible. Literally everything is spectacular. Rick and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate everyone. It’s probably the highlight of my day.
