I had a very nice experience with Dr Coto and her assistant Hannah today. I appreciate Nina, the doctor, going out of her way to help me with my other concerns. Dentist offices have been a fear of mine due to bad experience all my life and I am in my 50’s. I have had 3 visits with River Dental in the last month. Every experience has been a positive one and I have not shed one tear. Normally the tears start as I sit down. However not one tear so I was impressed on my first visit. Today they had to actually drill in my mouth and there was no fear. Chelsea made sure I was comfortable and without pain the entire time. She even got me a blanket because I forgot mine and then brought a pillow for me to be more comfortable and relaxed. THANK YOU Chelsea for going that extra mile for my comfort. The dentist was so gentle even rubbing and relaxing the places I was getting shots. The next visit will not be a dreaded trip. If you are looking for an awesome dentist and staff call River Dental they are truly amazing from the front desk staff, dental hygienist all the way to the dentist. I was blessed to make that call.

I couldn't be more pleased with the people that take care of me. They really know that there're doing. And my smile, what can I say. People don't even know i wear dentures. I highly recommend them. When I talk to other people with dentures they want to know where I go...Cause well, their's just look ok. Mine look like so real Just look at my picture. I really miss when Dr. Iyke was there. I came in today to see about cavities. The hygienist took some X-rays then sat in the room at the computer for another 10 minutes and said the doctor would be in. Someone else came in and told the hygienist to take more x rays. The hygienist sat in there for another 10 minutes ar the computer left a few times, would come back and sit for awhile and then finally took another X-ray. Doctor Coto came in the room. She didn’t introduce herself and barley talked to me. She looked at my teeth and said some things to the hygienist and I had to ask her if the tooth that was hurting had a cavity and she said “It looks like it could be the beginning of one” then she left the room. No one talked to me about my X-rays or what was on them, then someone came in and showed me my treatment plan and there were some other teeth on there they had marked that I didn’t even know had cavities because literally no one talked to me about my X-rays and what was going on whereas when Dr. Iyke was there he would actually show me my X-rays and explain what issues there were if there were any and actually communicated to me what was going on. It was overall a really weird visit and I’m switching to a different dentist. Maybe Doctor Coto isn’t bad, but she really needs to work on her communication with patients and just seemed rude and annoyed to be there and is the reason I’m switching to a different dentist because I don’t trust someone with my teeth who won’t even talk to me.

The staff is always the absolute sweetest. They helped me work through my dental anxiety and I actually don't have it anymore! As far as caring goes, they do! They care about your feelings, your life and your comfort. I highly recommend River Dental to friends and everybody!
