Can not say enough about how amazing this experience was. Primitive camping river side under the stars was unforgettable. All of Hualapai guides took great care of us. We were well fed. Abundance of water and they reminded us to stay hydrated. No complaints at all. Loved every minute of the journey. Highlight besides rafting of course, the big horn sheep, Travertine Falls, and getting to know all of the different people (patrons and guides and lodge staff). An amazing blessing to be able to be apart of this adventure!

Epic, top to bottom. We did a 3 day Grand Canyon trip. The guides are unreasonably knowledgeable on everything you could imagine (I learned more about geology than I did in all my schooling). The rafts, meals and camping accommodations were pretty posh (for a rafting trip). The itinerary was jam packed with exciting and fun things to do. Couldn’t recommend Rivers and Oceans enough.
Special shoutout to Ben and Johnny, two of the best guides I’ve had in any guided adventure travel trip I’ve taken. Keep up the great work!

Just returned home from a Grand Canyon 6 night/7 day motorized river rafting trip with 27 family members and friends - and we had a blast! Coordinating a trip that involves flights, rafts, shuttles, permits, and helicopter rides with 28 people from across the country is no small feat, but this was all done by Rivers and Oceans without a hitch and no detail was missed. They even helped coordinate arrivals of people (with last minute commercial flight delays) to get to the outfitters on time. Clint Diveley was our contact person and he was so helpful and patient with any questions or concerns we had. Our rafting trip with Wilderness River Adventures was coordinated through Rivers and Oceans. Along with incredible Canyon scenery - of course, we had a fantastic group of guides (“Tater”/Nate, Travis, Billie, and Sierra), delicious food, and all with safety and service in mind. It was the trip of a lifetime and working with our trip planners made it easy. Highly recommend this company!

I had the trip of a lifetime visiting the Upper Grand Canyon (7 days) with Oars in July 2022. I cannot stress enough the beauty, isolation, sense of wonder and excitement, excellence in staff, and ease of booking of this trip. This will be forever in your memories, so go ahead and go to the Grand Canyon!

I highly recommend Rivers & Oceans as they helped me assess different booking options, provided timely and relevant information, and were always available by email and phone. They know the river very well and had good suggestions. Due to a time crunch I was able to assess the options and complete the booking in less than 5 business days; Rivers and Oceans was key in helping me doing so. Their customer service is probably in the top 5% percentile out there. Let them guide you through the process and trust their judgement, as they have good experience in the Canyon.

Incredible trip down the grand canyon. 8 days in a paddle raft with really incredibly knowledgeable guides and trip organizers. You guys had all sorts of great stories about the history, the people, the geology and there was never a dull moment. I was expecting to be more actively involved in the logistics of camping but to their credit, the OU team was so well organized, they manage the whole show from start to finish. You guys also somehow managed to cater a 5 star cuisine a well. Truly an exceptional team and a trip I will never forget, thank you all!

We took the Grand Canyon - 3 days rafting trip on June 14th. It was amazing.
I usually almost always find some things that bother me when I travel or go to a restaurant etc. it's just who I am. BUT....there's always first. and this trip was my first perfect experience.
I cant even find one thing that was not ok on this trip. really. This is the first time I actually go on yelp to write a good review:) This trip was so well organized. Beyond my expectations...I must say. From the pick up at the hotel in vegas...thru the flight and the night we spent on Bar Ranch 10 and the helicopter down to the Canyon...Everything was just on point.
Equipment was in excellent shape. Sleeping bag, sheets, pillow were clean and fresh.
Our guide was very resourcful and used every minute to engage with information and story telling. Although he's doing it for 32 years, his enthusiasm felt like it was his first time.
The food was great. During rafting....we had access to lots of water, sodas, snacks.
And the jewel of this trip was the scenery. So beautiful. So relaxing.
The night on the canyon was breathtaking. Living in LA doesn't often, if at all, let you see a clear sky. It was pitch dark at 9 pm and we got to see the most beautiful sky I've ever seen. so many stars. amazing.
I just realized that I actually do have one complaint - The water were freezing. So frickin cold:)))
This trip has been on my bucket list for a long time.
I'm really happy I did it.
