Rock Island is THE BEST lakeside wedding venue in New Jersey! As a wedding photographer, the venue, staff, and food blew me away! The staff are SO kind, attentive, and professional. The views - well how can you beat a beautiful lakeside ceremony and open air cocktail hour deck?! Rock Island has everything you need for a smooth sailing day - you get ready in gorgeous and fun suites for BOTH partners. There's gorgeous photo-ops everywhere. Their food is amazing - you can't beat their cocktail hour displays!! It was such a joy to photographer Alessia and Eric's wedding day at Rock Island and I'm excited to document future weddings at Rock Island!

I don’t even know where to begin… our entire experience with Rock Island was great. Booking the event was easy and the staff is super responsive and organized during the planning process. We dropped off decorations a few days before our wedding and included some things from my shower I wasn’t sure what to do with and the team used everything and made all our decor perfect! They basically designed our entire sweetheart table. The food was amazing and the waiters/waitresses were incredibly kind. The bar tenders make some awesome drinks & we’re also incredibly kind. My bridal suite coordinator was phenomenal, she was very attentive and made sure my girls and I had everything we needed. She even carried my bouquet and dress around for about 2 hours while we took pictures around the venue before our ceremony. I also couldn’t believe how Awesome they were during the reception! I had 2 guests (and myself) drop a glass on the dance floor and they were there within seconds with a broom and flashlight making sure the glass was cleaned and the floor was safe! My husband and I were also extremely happy to get leftovers of all our food we didn’t get to eat to enjoy after the wedding. I’m hoping to be invited to a wedding here soon so I can experience this place as a guest!

Our experience getting married at Rock Island was nothing short of perfect. From the first time we toured, through all of our meetings, and the day itself, we always felt taken care of. The staff at RILC are truly one of a kind. They go above and beyond in making sure your questions are answered and your needs are met. Stephanie in the bridal suite and Matthew in the groom's lounge are exactly who you want helping you on your wedding day. They were friendly, information, kind, funny, and always made sure we had what we needed! We did go through multiple coordinators, but each one picked up where the last left off. I never felt like anything slipped through the cracks. We have a lot of allergies ourself, and not only were they able to accommodate, but they answered each and every one of my (endless) questions in detail. The venue itself is pristine, the cocktail hour is truly the best around (both in taste and getting your money's worth), and the vibes are exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. If you have any questions about whether it is worth it to get married at Rock Island, we'd say don't hesitate! They truly know what they are doing, they truly care about their coupes, and there's a reason why their calendar is often booked up. Rock Island Lake Club is a gorgeous venue with an amazing view of the water, delicious food and a friendly staff. If you're an engaged couple on the hunt for your wedding venue, do not overlook them! As a wedding photographer, it felt good to know our coordinator, assistants and maitre de were only a shout away and very much involved with how Tiffany & Jordi's day was going. Special shout out to Elaine, Jill and Abby for their hard work on the day of! 10/10 for the food! So many options between cocktail hour, dinner and dessert! No detail was spared and I cannot wait to be able to photograph more weddings here in the near future!

I got married at RILC on July 8, 2022, and had the most amazing day. The venue is beautiful, the food is incredible (and there’s so much of it!), and the staff are amazing. During planning, our coordinator, Amanda R, was super helpful and responsive any time we had questions, and periodically checked in with us. The day of the wedding, Amanda, Jill, Stephanie, Matt, Tessa, and everyone else working the wedding were fantastic and so helpful. Any time we needed anything, it was done right away. Everything was set up beautifully, and even better than I’d pictured. Stephanie never left my side and always made sure I had water or cold towels (it was very hot and humid). Jill even fixed my bustle in the middle of the dance floor! Everyone danced all night (huge credit to our DJ, DJ Albie G with Global Productions), and the midnight diner stop on the way out was a hit! We were never without a drink, and the staff packed up food for us to take home and had my car all packed and ready to go the next morning when I came to pick it up. They kept my flowers in the fridge overnight and had the top of the cake packaged up as well. We had the best wedding ever and our guests are still raving about our wedding. I cannot recommend Rock Island enough! It was the perfect venue with the most incredible staff!

Everything was amazing! The food, the service, the bars, the venue, the attendants, and everything else were all top notch. Every guest I've heard from raved about it and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If you want have a super memorable and enjoyable wedding day then Rock Island is well worth it!

Rock Island was also super easy to work with when we had to reschedule our wedding last year due to COVID.

My husband and I couldn’t be happier that we selected Rock Island Lake Club for our wedding day. The venue itself is a DREAM. Our guests are still raving about the food, the bar, the location and views. I could not have asked for a better venue for an on-site ceremony and reception. What’s even more amazing is the Rock Island Lake Club staff. Planning a wedding out of town can be stressful, however, right from the get-go, Rock Island’s team was incredibly helpful and easy to work with throughout the planning process. Becca Nelson was my wedding coordinator and she is the best of the best. She is so prompt with all email communications, scheduling, and organizing. Day of the wedding, she was an MVP helping with any and all needs. Her passion and enthusiasm for her job is palpable. All staff at RILC are so sweet and helpful. Their professionalism and kind demeanor did not go unnoticed by family, friends, and the bridal party. I could not recommend Rock Island Lake Club more.
