What a great experience. Sam is a great guide. Personable, funny and accommodating.
We set off from the far left pier at the Rock city Yacht club and went on the boat all the way up to the big dam bridge.
He pointed out some interesting facts and landmarks. The weather it turned out was perfect on the day of our visit.
It is a great option to take friends who are visiting from out of town out on the river and show them the beautiful Arkansas river.

Boat tour on the Arkansas River with Sam is a must when visiting Little Rock! Sam shared so many cool and interesting facts about the buildings and the area that we wouldn't have learned anywhere else. It was incredible to watch the sunset on the river. You can bring your own food and beverages onboard as well. Highly recommenn this activity!

The pontoon boat tour was so much fun. The owner and tour guide was great. We enjoyed some food and drinks while watching the beautiful sunset and spotting wildlife.

My family had the best time on our Sunset Pontoon Tour. Sam and his team at Rocktown River Outfitters did a fantastic job! It was seamless and fun. I would highly recommend this to anyone local or a visitor. It was such a unique and beautiful experience.

This kayak tour was better at the new location. The demonstration to get into the kayak was excellent. Gene, our guide, supplied us with historical facts and dates about the bridges that span the Arkansas River. He was always on the lookout for river traffic that could have put us at risk of capsizing, and made sure that we were well out of harm’s way.
We went a good ways upstream, and even got to paddle across the river to the other bank on the north side to get a closer view of the submarine, the U.S.S. Razorback.
In conclusion, I would certainly like to do the sunset tour again, but time it on an evening when there would be a full moon.

We had a great time, it was awesome getting to see downtown Little Rock from a different vantage point, the guide Sam was super chill, if you're looking for something different to do this is definitely a good option
