Not sure why there are 5 stars. Perplexed. I am from Florida in the NE. But have been to Ocala. Equestrian and barn owners take great pride in their facilities. They charge more, but you get a lot for your money. I don’t see that in the Dayton area. Tear down barns. This barn had great hay and a few great pastures, but I think you need to be in the owner’s good graces. The stalls were shameful and lots of broken and leaning fences. They should go to Ocala and take some lessons. I say; if you can’t afford to maintain your property, you should sell. I was there a week and was horrified and could’t get my horse out of there fast enough. I’m not trying to be mean, but come on Kathy..really 600$ for that!. Good luck on getting boarders with any class to stay. If you live up North go to Painted Sky. If you live nearer Bellbrook, go to Sunny Sugarcreek stables. They are smaller, but quality care and they are always making improvements. I am leaving this review bc it’s the only way to bring about improvement. Good luck Kathy.

Happy horses and happy people!
I recently moved to the area and wanted to get back into horses after a few years away from the equine industry. A year later, I love Royal Creek Farm! The farm has beautiful pastures and three barns for borders, trails in the woods, a half mile track, a great indoor and fabulously large outdoor arena, a wash rack, and private tack rooms as well! The lesson horses are dependable and sweet for any level of rider and clearly well loved. Amy is a wonderful instructor who teaches lessons to any age and any level of experience with grace and kindness. RCF and it's staff are wonderfully accommodating to all people. The owners of the property are generous and kind and are on a first name basis with everyone. They also have a wonderful youth equestrian team, which means they always have a barn full of sweet, horse-crazy kids who are eager to lend a helping hand and are so kind to new riders and members! The barn sees people and horses from every level and discipline, from casual trail riders, hobbyists, local show-goers, 4-H kids, all the way up to serious AQHA competitors. After many years away from the horse world because of negativity, I am so glad I took a chance and went to RCF to ride horses again! Thank you, RCF staff, friends, and family!

Had a very pleasant experience! Guides were exceptionally helpful. My boys had never been on a horse and they absolutely loved it. We took the hour trail ride. I highly recommend this place.

We took a horseback ride at Royal Creek Farm today with Emily leading the way. It was an awesome experience for the 3 of us as none of us had any "real" riding experience. Emily was very informative and talked to us as if she had known us. Very friendly. Emily has a lot of expertise when it comes to horses and answered our every many questions without hesitating. We had stopped at the farm about a month or so ago and they were just getting home from a horse show and had been gone several days they were tired but Emily took the time to sit down for a few minutes to tell us what Royal Creek had to offer and gave us her phone number to schedule a ride at a later date. I highly recommend!!! Thank You for a great experience. We will return!

Went to Royal Creek today to just enjoy some relaxing horseback riding. The experience we had was absolutely AMAZING. Jules was our guide. She was absolutely sweet, understanding, knowledgeable, and very patient. My two cousins who went with me aren't very experienced riders, and she walked them through everything. Royal Creek has an amazing way of setting up the entire experience. They are really good at pairing the rider with the house -- not easy to do, but very well done. Once you arrive, you meet your "guide" and then are introduced to your horse. I really enjoyed the fact that you have some one on one time with the horse you'll be riding before you actually get on. You get to give your horse a brush down so they get comfortable with you, after that the horses are saddled up, and they take you to an indoor arena to ride around and get comfortable. Your guide will then make sure you're comfortable to take you out to the field where you'll ride around for a while. This was honestly one of the best horseback riding experiences I have had in a long time. Their prices are extremely reasonable! Definitely recommend! Will be returning again!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Amy! We have come to the farm twice now and have had wonderful experiences both times. She is great at explaining things and has made the rides fun for my girls! She shares her knowledge about the horses and her love for them is very apparent! Thanks again Royal Creek Farm! We can't wait to come back!
