Stayed here Friday night 7/08 with my daughter. Last minute trip to the boardwalk. Wanted a place close without going broke. After reading reviews I decided to give this one a try. Since check in was not until 3:30 the plan was to leave the car, walk to the boardwalk, then come back in the afternoon to check in. When we arrived Sam was able to check us in super early which was awesome! Allowed us a fun filled afternoon/evening at the boardwalk.

Room was newly remodeled. Ours did not have a mini fridge or coffee pot so that was a bummer but the location and checking in early made up for it. Pool was clean. Since the property is under renovations the outside is full of boxes among other things so don't let that scare you away when you pull up. My only complaint is my room was right by the ice machine that's used continuously all night and being a light sleeper was woken up alot. Besides that, Sam was great, very friendly, and will definitely stay here again. Look forward to seeing what improvements have been done the next time we come back.

We stayed in the two room suite and we're very happy with it! Love the decor and very clean. Also the pool is heated to a perfect temp. The gentlemen who is at the front was very polite and helpful. I feel that this place is great! I'll be back and tell friends.

Very clean and spacious. Room I checked into had two rooms, two TVs, a good sized bathroom with a walk-in shower and we’ll stocked cleaning amenities. Room also came with a mini fridge, microwave, and a coffee pot. Lacked a sitting table/desk but had two comfortable chairs. A lot of outlets and reading light options. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits.

Got two joining rooms with a little living room and bathroom. Bathroom was great, big and clean. Rooms were a decent size. My only big issue was the beds. I could feel the metal springs in the beds and the metal support at the bottom is very loud when you try to move around. Painful to sleep on. Other than that it’s a fine room.

We stayed in this motel for just one night, and it was pretty good for the price that we payed. The room was really modern and clean. The only problem was that we didn't have a trash in the room but then we asked for having one and Sam ( the receptionist) gave us one. The receptionist, Sam is really kind and always available.
So we really enjoyed our stay

Our stay was amazing. There was 7 of us 3 adults and 4 kids and we were so close to the boardwalk it was amazing. Clean rooms, newly remodeled, comfortable beds, very large room and huge bathrooms. Sam the manager was AMAZING made us feel welcome and very helpful. Stayed up late to make sure we made it down safe. Only thing that I could say to make it even better would be to put coffee pots in the room. Other then that we will be staying here for now on with our kids every time we come to santa cruz.

If you’ve stayed here before it was okay descent nothing luxurious but okay for the stay. Now it’s just very, very different! We stayed two nights from 6/17-6/19/2022 and the rooms are just great! Big spacious bathroom, the main room has a tv, mini fridge, table, microwave and a nice dresser with a open space to hang up your clothes just make sure to take your hangers. The second bedroom also has a Tv, dresser, and plugs on each side of the night stands for easy phone charging. Everything in this room was very clean, smelled nice, and the beds were very soft and comfortable as well as the pillows. It was pretty quiet at night time so we had a good sleep. Sam there is so, so very nice and friendly. He is always there just incase you need anything. Great customer service! This place is walking distance to the boardwalk so if you ever need to stay somewhere this is the place. It’s convenient, fresh remodeled rooms, comfortable stay, and if you have kids and rent a suite it very convenient for privacy each room has a door and tv to keep kids entertained. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. I would definitely give this place a second try if you haven’t already and I guarantee you’ll be amazed just as my family and I were.

It's an okay place to stay if you want a walkable distance to the beach.

It would have been nice if we were able to check in on time and we lost several hours because of that. The interior is new (renovated) and they actually have two separate bedrooms (for our unit) which is a big plus.

They really should have implemented more details before letting people stay. For example, you literally have nothing to hand your clothes in the bathroom or anywhere else. Also, you can't open the windows because there is no screen to block out bugs.

I probably would look to stay somewhere else if I was in town next time. But I wouldn't be upset if I had to stay here again (and it's the best option).

Management is accessible and overall reasonable, but it'd be nice if they could accomodate more to inconveniences caused to the customer.
