It was a fun day with my kiddos climbing up and seeing the view. Beautuful art work by the artist, incredible and unbelievable what he created. Some people might feel it's a little sketch with the surrounding mobile homes. But I felt it was safe.

A very interesting place to visit. A lot of local historical value . A lot of it was shut down but still a very interesting place to visit. Kind of far out but if you close to Palm Springs or El Centro it might be worth the drive over. Good photo op.

Really cool place to visit, and the attached slab city is extremely cool and worth the visit. Only kinda annoying thing is that everyone is trying to sell you something and the salvation mountain itself (as you may be able to guess based on the name) is very god-y. It really is an extremely impressive work of art in an incredibly unconventional spot, but it is always but and the road in is terrible.

You won't regret this visit. Beautiful & enlightening. Truly a remarkable place, hidden gem in the desert. The people are nice & welcoming. Please bring donations (especially paint to preserve the mountain & art). Don't forget to stop by East Jesus & their the local gift shops. Help spread the message: "GOD IS LOVE" ?

A bit out of the way, up a long, bumpy dirt road... You see some of Slab City on the way though. Beautifully painted mountain, vehicles. Money donated goes to the cats of the area, so I was quick to toss in some cash!

Beautiful place with wonderful energy. Amazing to see one of a kind art, a real labor of love.
Free, donations very welcome at designated spots. There was a docent there that was friendly and answered questions. So glad this treasure was still there to be witnessed.
Suggest sunhats/sunscreen, bring own water. Port-a-potties on site.
