We visited Sandy Ridge Vineyards in the fall and found it to be an interesting little place to gather for dinner or with friends. The outside patio area was really nice especially with social distancing being enforced in the state. They had a really nice area where a fire was burning and you could relax and sample a glass of wine while keeping toasty in the chill air. The inside was beautifully decorated and full of interesting antiques. They also offered many different locally made products in the front area that really showcased the diversity in the area. I tried the sangria and the charcuterie board, the selections of meats and cheeses were delicious however I was disappointed with the house made sangria. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking available and the outside area is handicap accessible, however I did not see a way to get to the restaurant portion other than stairs (I could have missed it though so I would recommend calling to ask)

My husband and I had Chef Kevin cater our wedding last September and we had to visit their new venture at Sandy Ridge and it was fabulous! The food is delicious and fresh using seasonal ingredients. We have been craving his food for a year and finally made our way out to visit again.

The atmosphere and ambiance were perfect for a late summer evening on the patio. If you’re looking for a chill spot with delicious food and good vibes this is it! Chef Kevin’s food will not disappoint.

Lindsey knows hospitality and made our experience great!

Lovely atmosphere! Great outdoor area in the mild Ohio weather today! Indoor farmhouse is a great place for receptions or parties. They only serve a few of their own wines and the others are favorites found by the owner so it makes for a nice selection. The menu has a great variety, including salads large enough for two (really)! Saw several other dishes being brought out that looked wonderful. We had crab and artichoke dip with a toasted baguette loaf that was to die for! And the hydrangeas were absolutely beautiful!

This place is a staple for my family and friends to meet almost every other week! The food is amazing! We are working our way through the menu trying every dish. It’s tough to say which item is our favorite because we have loved all of them. The Chef’s special crab cakes are spot on Maryland-style, the short rib (tacos and entree) are cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth, the salmon has flavors bursting in every bite…every dish is seasoned perfectly and the freshness of the ingredients pop!
The staff is always so welcoming! Making a reservation is key though because they are packed every time we visit; however, some visits when we decided to come in last minute without a reservation, they do their best to get us a table…..THANK YOU!!!
This spot is a hidden gem! We love that we can be guaranteed great service and great food in a beautiful setting every time!

Well there’s a lot of 5 star reviews of Sandy Ridge, and I must say I agree.

The location is lovely. The winery is located in a converted barn. The barn’s previous job consisted of pressing apples and producing cider. The barn currently purveys a lovely assortment of reds and whites, but these are not the gifts of the tree but gifts of the vine.

My fiancé loves their Pinot Blanc. It is a perfect summer wine with a crisp refreshing taste.

I am compelled to say that the fare is atypical. I have been to few wineries that boasted such a mixed and top notch assortment of delicious food options.

Overall my fiancé and I had a lovely 4th of July at Sandy Ridge!
