We fished with Alex multiple days in August and had a great time! He knows where to find the fish, keeps a clean boat and makes sure lines are always in the water - increasing your chance to catch. We brought our daughter, who is 9, a few days and Alex was attentive with her as well.

We limited out on pinks multiple days, loaded up on silvers, caught our halibut and even brought in a nice king late in the season! We will definitely be back and even hope to book the package deal that Santa’s Choice offers with lodging, etc.

Our experience with Santa's Choice Charters was nothing short of incredible. We caught our kings right away and still had the rest of the day to catch other fish. Captain Alex was extremely knowledgeable and able to keep us catching fish nonstop we always felt safe and he was great to make you feel comfortable even if your not an avid fisherman. It was truly like spending the day with an old friend we were never pressured or made to feel dumb if we made a mistake. I can't say enough good things about Santa's Choice Charters I would Highly recommend to others!!!!

Captain Rudolph provided the best Alaskan fishing trip for our group. Because of the time of year we booked we were able to fish and caught several different varieties. The housing accommodations were top notch. Our group had an awesome time and will definitely be going back.

Booked with Santa’s Choice Charters to take my parents fishing in AK for the very first time and my expectations were exceeded on every level. Alex is incredibly knowledgeable about running a boat, where the fish are, etc.. He gave clear instruction and made the whole day so fun and seamless! I couldn’t have pictured a better experience. Best Capt ever. He’s a fish whisperer. A natural. Alex knows the secret places to make a haul. He is experienced, intuitive, and an expert. Alex also is nice to hang out with and watch in action. He is a machine. He gets you on the hook with multiple including 3-4 on at a time. We caught our limit. He is innovative and brilliant. He was never stressed or rude despite my inexperience. I would give him 10 stars if I could. I even got to jump in and swim when we got hot. Memories of a lifetime. Worth every penny and more. We dishes out of Salmon Falls an amazing resort with a chef who will cook you your catch.

Couldn’t have asked for a better fishing trip! Did a couples retreat for a week long and it’s a trip we look back to often! Alex was a great captain and made us all very comfortable. We limited out almost every day and even caught myself a KING salmon! Will be coming back very soon!
