Our guide Susan was welcoming and informative as she lead our group of four through the Main Street area of Sarasota's restaurant district. We enjoyed great food stops while learning about history of the City. I would highly recommend such a tour for anyone wishing to learn more about the diversity of food choices in the downtown.

We recently had the pleasure of taking the "Ghosts & Gruesomes" tour, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Our tour guide, Troy, made this journey through Sarasota's history and ghost stories an unforgettable adventure.

Troy is not just a guide, but a passionate historian with an exceptional talent for storytelling. Troy's knowledge and enthusiasm for Sarasota's history, coupled with frightening ghost tales, had all of us on the edge of our seats throughout the tour. Some of the stories even gave us goosebumps! We were impressed by Troy's use of pictures to help bring the characters in the stories to life.

We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Troy's friendly demeanor made us feel right at home, and the fact that Troy took the time to answer our questions and engage us in discussions about the area's history, added a personal touch to the experience. We absolutely loved Troy!!!

We took this tour around Halloween, and my boyfriend and I added a little extra fun by dressing up as the twins from "The Shining." Troy embraced our enthusiasm and made the experience even more special. We even learned how to search for ghosts using our phone cameras, adding an interactive and thrilling aspect to the tour.

The pace of the walk was comfortable for all, but I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as you'll be doing some exploring. Troy even thoughtfully took us to a lovely hotel for bathroom breaks and to purchase refreshments at the bar if we desired.

Our experience with Sarasota Suncoast Tours went far beyond the tour itself. Sheila, who helped us book the tour, was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful, and kind. Due to some scheduling conflicts and dietary restrictions in our family, we couldn't book a tour before our Sarasota Suncoast Tours gift certificate expired. Sheila went above and beyond to extend our gift certificate by six months, ensuring we could enjoy this wonderful experience. Her communication and assistance were top-notch.

Even my parents, who live in Sarasota, were stunned by the history in their own backyard. We all learned so much and were deeply moved by the experience. We cannot recommend Sarasota Suncoast Tours enough. Thank you, Troy, Sheila, and the entire team, for an unforgettable and truly enlightening adventure!

Venice Shark's Teeth Tour (Includes a bite!): From ages 6 to 69, all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed learning to be shark teeth hunters, the visit to Shark Frenzy, the awesome necklaces made with our finds and a delicious lunch! Our tour guide Troy was so awesome, sharing knowledge and helping us to have a great experience. His patience (whether with a 6 or 69 year...and all ages in between 😁) was such a gift and his excitement was energizing. Highly recommend for all ages!

My family and I had a great time participating in the shark tooth hunting tour with Grace as our guide. Found a few teeth and had some jewelry made at Shark Frenzy, a local shop in Venice. Finished the tour with some stone oven pizza at Made in Italy in the downtown Venice shopping district. Overall a great family friendly experience. Will definitely do this again the next time we are in Sarasota.

Venice Shark's Teeth Tour (Includes a bite!):
Best experience for our family of 6 (4 kids ages 10-14) during our vacation to Siesta Key. Our guide, Troy, was fantastic! Informative, enthusiastic, patient, fun and answered all our questions from our very curious 10 year old. We learned a lot about the local shark tooth scene and what to look for while hunting. We found dozens of teeth! After the tour we followed our guide to Shark Frenzy to identify our finds (we returned later to have necklaces made). Then we finished with a short walk to an Italian restaurant for wood fired pizza...all of which was included! Kids loved this adventure from start to finish. We had such a great time we went back to Casparian Beach the next morning to do our own hunt. Our family has a new hobby and the 10 year old cannot stop talking about finding his own Megalodon tooth one day. This all-inclusive experience is really worth it: knowledge and expertise, water, all hunting equipment, tooth identification and lunch in downtown Venice. Highly recommend for all ages...not just kids! Thanks Troy!

We had a group of 20 people (10 & 10) attend the St Armand’s Culinary Food Tour. It was excellent, the food was spectacular! Service was impressive and our tour guides were so fun! We had Troy and Susan and they were both just so knowledgeable and informative!
This is the 2nd tour we have used SST and they are a truly professional group.

We did the St Armands Circle food tour for our 20 anniversary. Susan, our tour guide was very informative and pleasant to spend the time with. We really enjoyed our time and the places we went. All of the food was good and we will definitely be going back to Sarasota to have a full meal at a few of the places we visited. Thanks again Susan for a great day!

We took a Ghost/murder tour with Troy. He was very interesting and had a great way to spin the tales and even make some personal. He had us all enthralled with his stories and "look at..."things. Well worth the tour. Wish it was a little longer!
