A beautiful Floridian beach, quaint little cottages that are right on shoreline. Stunning views and relaxing atmosphere. Paradise simply put. Listen to the ocean waves and feel connected again, away from all the technology and nonsense of busy everyday life, perfect place to reset and rejuvenate.

Scruggs harbor is an idyllic little sip of paradise. It’s one of the last original beach structures in Indian rocks and has all the beauty of Clearwater (a ten minute drive) without the crowds. All the cottages are uniquely decorated and personalized so no matter where u stay it feels so wonderfully quaint and special (although my favorites are fayroy and sweet cottage!) The caretaker is the absolute SWEETEST lady who’s lived there over thirty years. It’s a wonderful place to just relax and destress with the most beautiful views, sunsets, flora and fauna. I would highly recommend taking a stroll down to the kooky coconut for an ice cream from laying on the beach all day. I recommend it to all my friends and it seems that everyone who goes always returns each year. This place is the highlight of my year. Can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely LOVE this place! I've now stayed here several times for a week at a time and there's no place like it. It has its own private beach access, ample free parking, themed cottages so that each offers it's own unique experience, and if you ever do want to leave the property it starts right along the strip that is Gulf Blvd and full of shops, restaurants, and bars! So if you're looking to relax in a cottage on the beach or party with other beach goers and indulge in the night life, there is something for everyone at Scrugg's Harbor! I will be so sad if this property is ever sold and developed commercialized, but as it is the only place I've found of it's kind, that possibility is always there so if you haven't had the pleasure of visiting this one-of-a-kind vacation retreat, you owe it to yourself to add this experience to your list of memories that make up your life and it will not disappoint! 🎉🏖️👙🩳

Lovely quiet houses RIGHT on the beach. A little rustic (shabby beachy chic), clean, roomy, and comfortable. Walk out every night for a breathtaking sunset. Great place to stay!!

I sometimes get to go here on an outcall (I'm a licensed massage therapist) and the cottages are always clean and so comfy. Free wifi. Beach AND pool. And it's on the quiet part of the beach, so it's more relaxing and secluded. Their clientele is generational. Whole families building traditions.
