I almost stayed elsewhere because it was a few bucks cheaper but I’m glad I read the reviews first

I was surprised at how good the reviews were for the Seacrest Inn but they are not exaggerating.

Definitely a good deal and good spot to stay in Catalina island. Located right in the heart of Avalon.

Amber in reception was amazing. They let us store our one suitcase until we could check in and after we checked out until the boat left. She was a kind guide giving info about Avalon. They have a lovely upstairs area overlooking the ocean that includes a barbecue, tables, chairs and other outdoor seating. They included a fridge and microwave in the room as well as a king size bed, none of which I was finding at higher priced hotels. the room was simple but clean. The AC turned to fan helped to cover street noise

The Inn is within all the walking points as are most in Catalina. The mattresses are AWFUL and we were falling out of bed and needed pillows to hold us in. Rooms are tight, but quaint. I think there are better places to stay. Inn is on a busy corner but close to downtown.

The service and location were great, but unfortunately our power went out twice in our room (the loft). Just by turning on the AC it caused the circuit breaker to trip, so we had to call a member of the staff to turn back on our electricity at midnight when we woke up in the heat. After both incidents, we ended up turning off the AC and just relying on fans, which was uncomfortable, but resulted in us being able to keep power.

I usually stay on a yacht in the harbor, but having hiked across Catalina Island from Two Harbors and having camped the previous night in a tent on the beach, I needed a nice, comfortable place to not only sleep, but shower||||The Seacrest Inn was perfect for my stay, offering a clean room in a great location, with helpful staff and consistent communication. ||||Avalon should be for boats, but if I ever need to stay on land again, The Seacrest will be at the top of my list...

Much more than a place to stay! At Seacrest Inn You’ll be well taken care of by the current staff and enjoy a pleasant stay on the Island. Also , The owner Caleb Lins is a pillar in the community , providing jobs is one of many ways he contributes to the locals on the island. My sister Amber has been working at Seacrest Inn for quite some time and is one of the best there is. Make the Seacrest in a regular spot to visit and know you are making the Island stronger because of it!

This is our second time staying here- and again it didn’t disappoint. Such a great place to spend for our wedding anniversary! We stayed in the Loft, such a private and secluded getaway. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Seacreast Inn it was handily located near the pier, bus stop and supermarket ||The room was comfortable with a jacuzzi bath, large shower and a kitchen area. Plus being on the top floor we had lovely ocean views. ||The panoramic view from the deck upstairs was brilliant. A great ocean and valley view, we used it for breakfast and pre dinner drinks. There was a large bbq we were tempted to use but didn’t in the end. ||The staff are very polite and knowledgable. ||I would stay there again, I thought it was charming.
