We did not stay here, but came to the house to visit with family who were staying. We stayed at The Crater of Diamonds State Park in our Motorhome. The park is only 2 miles down the road, so we were here at Shady Pines almost every day for a week. The house is an older home, but is very nice and well kept. Since we did not sleep here I can’t comment on beds or showers, but everything else was great. We fished in the pond and used the small boat several times. Everyone caught fish!! This is a beautiful place and is a great way to stay near the diamond mine if you don’t camp. It’s also only a couple miles from Murfreesboro and the many shops and restaurants there. We made the trip to Hot Springs twice during our stay, which was an easy 1 hour drive. And there were homemade brownies on the counter which we all ate voraciously!

Really peaceful. Definitely for nature lovers. The pond and the trail was beautiful. My 10yr old caught her 1st fish out on their pond. They have rods, you just need fishing accessories. The boat is safe and awesome, and has life jackets aboard for you small ones. We visited for the diamond park. It was beautiful. The neighbors has dogs, all friendly for the most part. The small black one does like to pooping the yard and will "mark" your vehicle if you let him. The house has everything basically you need to not only survive but enjoy your vacation. Thank you Tammy and Scott.

From the moment we arrived we felt like we had come home! The owners wrote us a little note telling us to feel right at home and to make ourselves comfortable.
There was a fresh baked pan of brownies on the kitchen island! Equipped with everything we needed all we had to do was stock in groceries.
A great place to get away even for a couple days! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area and want a relaxed.get away!

Clean, spacious, and peaceful. Close to the Little Missouri River and the Crater of Diamonds. Lake Greeson is also nearby. 7 acre lake onsite. You will feel rested and right at home.

Super clean , very comfortable ... nice quiet surroundings.
It's only a couple miles from the Diamond mine park.
I look forward to staying there again.
