My husband and I took the Amtrak from Chemult, OR to Dunsmuir, CA for a weekend snowboarding at Shasta Ski Park, so we recruited Shasta Mountain Shuttle & Tours to get us around. They picked us up from the train station around 1am Friday, shuttled us to and from the ski park and Mt. Shasta LOGE on Saturday and Sunday, and then dropped us back of at the train station Monday morning around 4am, all for a very reasonable $200. John and Mike's communication, friendliness, and knowledge of the area were top notch. We hope to do this trip again and will definitely be using their services again.

John Kennedy was our amazing tour guide for two days during our week vacation in Mt.Shasta. The historical context of each city and location were so deep and relevant. He had amazing stories that includes his family and their amazing contributions to the different cities visited and toured. It made all the difference in the world that he was raised in the town and his family generations. We got a local eye during the tour. He knew histories of local farm families and older businesses that no longer exist and owners of new businesses. If you want to take a deeper dive into history and up to date news of the towns of Mt.Shasta, McCloud, Weed, Yreka, you won't be disappointed. Thank you John for all your knowledge and insights of each town.
