This was a very cozy hotel with a very cozy town, if you ever go to this area you MUST stop at all of the vintage shops, especially the one on the corner in particular you will fall in love. The breakfast was good and very good vending machine options. Front desk staff is really nice and overall just an ever welcoming and nice place. You pay for what you get for sure because I would totally come back here

The establishment was very clean. This is a small town atmosphere and small town hospitality. There were a few options for parking behind the building or across the street at no cost. There could have been more options for breakfast. We choose to go somewhere else for breakfast. It would have been nice to have furniture in the room like a table and chairs or a comfortable chair.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hidden gem of a hotel on a business trip not long ago. Being a frequent traveler, I always appreciate: clean rooms, great amenities, good location and having a great shower is an awesome bonus! This hotel checked all of those boxes. I would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic hotel. Rooms were extremely clean and roomy. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Location was in small downtown quaint area. Best of all they offer a hot cocoa machine in the lobby that is available all day. Offered hot cocoa, french vanilla, and white chocolate carmel. YUM

We did a weekend trip to explore the area. This was a nice, quiet, clean hotel in the heart of downtown. Easy to find, accessible parking, and lots to see within walking distance. The breakfast is one of the best we have seen with pancakes, Nutrigran bars, variety of beverages, fresh fruit, and donuts from the local bakery. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The staff were friendly and offered suggestions. We were impressed by how all the businesses supported each other.

very nice, i was very surprised. ive never stayed in a hotel that was so close to so many great places. it does get a tad noisy at times with the cars, but the closed windows muffle it very well. staff is very nice, cleaning service is wonderful, and the rooms are very comfortable.

We came to Iowa from oklahaoma for a family event. We ended up getting to town way earlier than originally planned. We got to the hotel around 5:30 am and because nobody was in our room they allowed us to check in as soon as we got there. The service was wonderful, the hospitality was incredible and the rooms were very clean. The town is very cute and we woke up and walked the street and looked at all the shops they had down there. It was a nice stay, when we come back to visit our family this will be our go to stay. Easy access parking as well.

Great location and the rooms are decent, but the gym is lacking anything except a couple treadmills. It would be nice to have some free weights at least. There is a community gym a block away, and you can get a day pass for $5. I didn’t mind the rooms but the air conditioner kept tripping and I had to reset it multiple times during my stay. I do like how close it is to all the shops and restaurants in town. The breakfast was nothing special. I would have liked to see some hot options rather than just cereal and sticky pancakes that emerge from a conveyer belt.
