I am so happy I found a place by the shore where I can eat a delicious vegan meal while my husband eats whatever he likes. Thank you so much for accommodating both of us. We will be back! I had the Tempeh Reuben with sweet potato fries and I can't wait to try everything else on your vegan menu. My husband ordered the Patty Melt on the regular menu and he said it was delicious. We also ordered the guacamole & chips and my meal came with soup or salad, so I ordered the vegan chili and it was wonderful. We were stuffed when we left.

This place is really cool. It's kind of like if a bunch of vegetarian hipsters bought an old diner, cleaned it up, and decided to serve gourmet food. They have many many fancy seaming non-vegetarian options. But what drew me in was the sign that it was a vegetarian enclave haha. Definitely a few good looking vegan choices. I ordered a falafel pita, which was tasty and just the right portion size for a nice little lunch. Very friendly staff, very in tune to dietary restrictions. Everything on the menu is labeled about dairy-free, not free, all that. So if you have any dietary restrictions, you would love this place.

The place was also very clean, very easy to get to. Totally recommend this please.

These onion rings are gluten free. Look at em, just look. Perfection. Super grateful for a safe farm fresh egg omelette too. The fries are also the most pillowiest fluffy potato ever, my fav type of fry. Yummmm. Also I love that you can dine in or do take out, we’ve done both!

On advice from a Guilford local we stopped for a quick lunch before heading home at Shoreline Diner. It is very clean and comfortable. We were greeted and seated at a booth by a window. Our server was right there to offer drinks and give us the extensive menu. We each ordered the pita gyro with beef and lamb which was quite good. We decided to have a dessert and were a little disappointed in the dessert versus the description. I had a warm apple which was a round shortbread cookie with warm sliced apples and a little caramel sauce on it luckily I supplemented it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Janet had pecan pie with chocolate ice cream and it wasn’t really a slice of pie but more line a shortbread cookie with pecans and sauce. Although they were good we were disappointed in them.

This place is amazing!! Especially as someone with a gluten allergy! It is an amazing feeling being able to order almost anything on the menu. Most often the gluten free options are like the two flavors over there and they probably aren't the flavors you want but you settle..... But not at Shoreline. Most anything either is gluten free or can be made gluten free. Including the entire gluten free dessert case.

very tasty gyro wrap, with a side of fries. husband had the gyro platter with chicken lemon soup with orzo. we both enjoyed it very much. very clean place. service was quick and courteous. we will be back! jus

My husband and I stopped for the first time at the Shoreline Diner last week for lunch. First of all, our waitress MacKenzie was so helpful and personable. She is an asset to your establishment. The food was impeccable. I consider myself a food snob and want good food. I also have a lot of allergies and their menu gave me many, many choices. We will definitely make the drive there in the very near future. Best place!!

Huge thanks to Alley and Brian, who took such great care of us! They were both truly amazing—friendly and welcoming, with an energy that made this one of the best diners I’ve been to in a long time. The grits were the best I’ve ever had in my life! The strawberry jam, freshly made in-house, was incredible, and my omelette was out of this world. My partner’s dish featured a juicy, buttered steak that practically melted in your mouth—the chef definitely knows how to cook a perfect steak with eggs, rice, & sautéed onions even though this dish wasn’t on the menu as a combo dish, Alley made it happen, saying, “I don’t see why we couldn’t make it. We have all the ingredients.” What a fantastic attitude!

From the moment you walk in, everyone is smiling. Best diner ever!
