So, we stopped here today as little oddity pitstop. It was a very cool thing to see and you could see the care and time that was put into this attraction. It's a nice little break on the lonely road. They do have a little campground if you are camping and want to stop. This is late October and the fields are being fertilized with pig poop. So it's a little smelly and we have obtained an extra traveler for the day in the form of a fly. We also were able to take our leashed dog with us as we toured the grotto and climbed to the highest point. Worth a quick look of you are in the area!

This is a must-see place for anyone who has any interest in rocks ... and even if you don't like rocks at all, this place should be on your go-to list. Absolutely amazing what someone can accomplish if they set their mind to it and more museum quality rocks than you can see in a lifetime. It takes a lot to impress me, but this was more than impressive. It will blow your mind ! It's possibly the most extraordinary place I've ever been and ever will be.

Very quiet and respectful place. Many people can visit at one time and still not feel crowded. You can walk around the grounds many times and still see something different. The rock work is unbelievable. The grottos tell a story, and you can feel immersed in it. There is a very nice gift shop and museum as well. I noticed there was a camping area next door with hookups. Plan plenty of time for your visit, you will want to stay awhile. The chapel is open to view the Christmas Grotto or to worship. Very peaceful and calming. I almost skipped it, and I'm very glad I didn't.
