I did the Downtown LA Food Tour. My tour guide was Alaina R.

I had a great time on the tour. Alaina was very knowledgeable about the history of LA and how all of the different restaurants we visited helped tell the story of the rise, fall and second rise of LA.

The cuisine chosen for this food tour (see pictures) was diverse and offered a great subsection of LA has to offer I terms of culinary delights. My favourite stop was Maccheroni Republic - homemade pasta was excellent!

The downtown LA tour was excellent. Our guide, Isa, was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and made an effort to make everyone on the tour feel included.
The tour was well thought out. Every stop was wonderful because the food was delicious and the reason for stopping was interesting. The historical places we visited along the way helped tell an entertaining and informative story about downtown Los Angeles. Isa did a great job of connecting the past and present. Two noteworthy examples were her discussion about Bunker Hill, near Grand Central Market, and at the Bradbury Building.
The walk is not difficult and the pace is easy. We always felt safe.
Booking the tour was easy. The company was quick to respond and helpful in its answers. I recommend this tour.

Had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide Scarlett was amazing. She was knowledge, friendly and delivered a great experience. We saw several key sights in DTLA such as Pershing Square, Biltmore Hotel, the Bradbury Building, Grand Central Market and the Arcade Building. We tried many delicacies such as almond croissants at Pitchoun bakery, pork and chicken skewers at Sticky Rice at the Grand Central market, Grilled Cheese at DTLA cheese, Tacos at Guisados, and donuts at Donut Friend. Overall a great tour. A+++

Let me just start by saying, I learned so much, and I've lived here for going on 10 yrs. As my hubby and I are foodies, I thought we should try an experience that might introduce us to some more local downtown spots! We were not disappointed. Our group was intimate, and our guide (Scarlet) was wonderfully informed. While I wish that some of the portions were a bit more substantial for the price, I would do it again!

We booked the Sidewalk Food Tour for Venice Beach with Robbie B. The communication upfront was great and timely. They were easy to work with during the booking process. During the tour Robbie did a great job explaining the history of the restaurants we visited. The tour included the opportunity to walk around Venice Beach where we learned the history of the area. Robbie was very pleasant and interacted with our group without being overbearing. We never felt rushed. He even indulged our groups desire to walk down to the beach and take a photo. This was a team building event and I heard a lot of great feedback the next day. I will definitely book again with Sidewalk Food Tours!
