Marci and her team were instrumental in helping our special day to flow smoothly. She is a master of executive function as well as flexibility. She ensured vendors were in place and aware of expectations. She lined the wedding party up in a timely manner for the procession. Her rehearsal the day before was very thorough and the ceremony pretty much went perfectly. We were also very grateful for her and her team's help with set up and tear down since our venue did not provide that service, as well as putting together place settings. As a bonus, she was quite generous in loaning us many items in service of the event that included a beautiful wooden table for our communion elements, some ribbon streamers, a welcome sign, and table numbers. We highly recommend Marci and the Simply I Do team for all your wedding coordination and planning needs.

Marcia is my guardian angel, plain and simple. From our first call, I immediately felt comfortable and all my nerves dissipated. She has such a kind demeanor and makes you feel like everything is going to be okay. I’ve never felt like someone could be apart of my family instantly, but with Marcia it happened. She is so attentive to your needs and is so organized. She would answer my questions before I could even ask them. During my wedding day, she kept us on time and kept reiterating we couldn’t be late because the day is on our time. She even stepped in and officiated the wedding when my grandfather was too sick to do it. After the ceremony, she brought me and my husband water and I didn’t even realize I was so thirsty. If you want to someone who has your back, can make all your fears disappear with a few words, and is super organized and efficient, you’ll definitely get that with Simply I Do. Marcia and her team made my wedding day the best day ever. Love you Marcia!!

Marci was an absolute lifesaver when I called her the day before we were planning on getting married. She was so sweet and gave us different options for the right ceremony for us! Not impressed…. My coordinator lacked a sense of urgency. She showed up 3 hours late to the venue after me and my MOH had already set the tables, met with vendors, etc. She asked me (the bride) many questions about the timeline and the status of vendors when I assumed that’s what I was paying her for…to coordinate with vendors. I had to take it upon myself and stop in the middle of photos and attempt to call a vendor that was running late. She did not come to the ceremony with the wedding party and gave a task to my bridesmaid.. At the reception, she made me and my husband very small portioned plates for us to eat in private. We paid $7000 in food so that was disappointing. No plates set up for us when we cut our cake. And then I spent 30 minutes at my own wedding cleaning up and had to ask her to help me before she left. I hate leaving a bad review but I should’ve paid a bit more to a better service…sorry. And fyi the cake stand was next to this large table. I asked her to help steam 2 table cloths when she got there at 12:30/1pm because I’d done everything else. I actually don’t know what I paid $1000 for other than renting some candles and table numbers. Maybe instead of accusing your paying clients of being liars in your response, you can take this as constructive criticism and provide further training and manage client expectations better.

I thought having a simple wedding was going to be easy enough to do on my own. Once I got into the details of the event I realized I needed someone that actually specializes in wedding and event planning. I could not have made a better choice with asking Marcia to handle this affair. She thought of every single detail, some that I never thought of. She calmed me when I got nervous. She was there when I needed or wanted to talk things out. Planning a wedding can get quite emotional. Marcia understands that and was there to listen anytime I needed an ear to bend or to talk out another detail.
Having her there for the months leading up to the special day was actually priceless. Marcia is not only an amazing event coordinator but also a wonderful friend. Our special day turned out to be the most special and perfect time. There is nothing I would have done differently. The memories Marcia and Tammy helped us create will be with us for a lifetime.
