!!!STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Absolutely stay away from this hotel. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Its hard to list out what all went wrong. If I could give it 0 Stars I would. Read some of the most recent reviews and you will notice a common thread of the things we experienced. When booking I chalked it up to a couple random occurrences - but obviously I was wrong.

- The room
Absolutely disgusting. Hair in the bathroom, on the toilet, on the sheets. Dust throughout the room. There was beer bottle caps on the floor. There was trash still on the floor in the room when we checked in. The sheets had multiple stains on them. The bed sheets on the pull out had not been changed. Called the front desk - and had to go down and get a replacement set, they would not send anyone up. The bed was broken down and was NOT comfortable. Bathroom floor was absolutely disgusting with dust, dirt, hair, etc. The garbage can had not been emptied.

-The staff
Never heard a vacuum running the entire three days we were at the hotel with housekeeping, which was obvious by the room cleanliness.
No towels at the pool. When we went to the front desk the lady working said they should be in the pool area, but they weren't. She sighed and rolled her eyes, went and got towels and said 'if you don't bring those back we will charge your room.'
Mentioned to them several times about the room condition and the only response was 'sorry we are short staffed.' The entire staff we encountered throughout the stay

-Hotel
The entire property has a major need for a deep cleaning, there are signs throughout that they have ZERO standards for having a clean property. The second day we were there the second floor 'flooded'.

I have stayed at many sleep inns throughout the country, and I am a loyal Choice Rewards member, and I will NEVER stay at this location again, and I advise everyone to stay as far away from this property as possible until they make MAJOR changes. This was VERY disappointing because it was supposed to be a relaxing, fun family getaway and this disaster of a hotel made the trip very stressful and not enjoyable. If we could have changed hotels, we would have, but due to the location and prior commitments, we could not.

The floors in our room were disgusting. It looked like they hadn’t vacuumed in months. The room also smelled like a wet dog. The lady in the breakfast area stood over my daughter while she was trying to make a waffle. The one housekeeper working was eating and sitting on her phone and it took her two hours to clean one room. All staff was rude and unhelpful. Would not ever stay here again.

Many things were broken and out of order including the pool, exercise equipment and the orange juice machine. Did not serve any real breakfast food more like snacks. Room was dirty, it did not seem like they vacuumed anywhere in the hotel. Overpriced for what I paid

When i walked in the lobby was fairly clean. when i checked in i went to my room and immediately noticed black mold all over the heating/ac unit vents. I checked the rest of the room to see if it was clean. Upon further investigating i noticed that it was very dusty. the mini fridge hadnt been cleaned. There was stuff spilled all over inside, the floor hadn't been vaccumed, the computer chair litterally looked like somone threw up all over it. Both beds had hair all over the sheets. I dont think they even changed the sheets after the previous people. The bathroom floor had stuff all over it and the bath tub had blood/poop all smeared on the side. The walls had so many black skuff marks. I went down to the front desk and asked to get another room and the manager took me into another room and the sheets hadnt been changed. The garbage was still there. The floor hadnt been vaccumed and the bathroom was filthy. I was there a whole 15 minutes and i immediately checked out and went to another hotel. DONT GO TO THIS HOTEL! its extremely filthy

When we folded out the couch it had used bedding and blankets.||A choir group was staying as well and they ran the hallways and knocked on the doors all night long. As well as calling room numbers and hanging up. I know this is not the hotels problem. However, it would have been nice to have the chaperone to be notified and take ownership.

I stayed here with my family for two nights. I was very disappointed.
We get there, after a long time on the road, to be told we have a room with one king bed, when we had in fact booked a two queen room. The lady at the desk made it seem like our fault, even though we showed her our booking confirmation which showed which room we had paid for.
She didn’t apologize or offer us anything. She did get us a two queen room, but on the third floor. We had requested main floor.
This hotel was not clean. It looked like they had not vacuumed in weeks. Our room was passable, but barely.
The pool was not in great shape.
The room next to us was having a party late into the night.
The staff were not very friendly.
I would not recommend this hotel and don’t understand how it got fairly decent reviews.
Would not stay here ever again.

This hotel was close to the fairgrounds and had a decent rating. However...worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The room was not properly cleaned...there was a cookie left over from previous guests on the floor. Our toilet seat was cracked. The door barely closed to our room. Our kids were so excited to swim but the pool was so cold that they couldn't. There were also very few pool towels even available. Breakfast was terrible with microwave bacon and egg patties, zero flavor.

Lastly, and the WORST part was the fire alarm wake up at 3:30am AND 4:50am. A guest next door said they had stayed at this hotel previously and the alarm went off then as well. Clearly, that is a problem.

Friendly staff, nice variety of breakfast food, very clean room!
Comfortable bed,slept well. I'd definitely recommend this place.and gladly stay again when I'm in the area
