We hired Smiling Dog Entertainment for our formal fundraiser event and loved everything about the service they provided. They were professional and matched the formality of the event with their class. They worked independently to do all their own set up and tear down and were a full service operation, which was a huge plus while our team was busy with other event details. The 360 degree Photo Booth was a lot of fun for our guests and the end product of the video clips they produced were fun and professional, providing great mementos of the evening for our guests. We heard great feedback all night about the staff and the fun of something unique to make the event. I will definitely hire Smiling Dog Entertainment again!

The were able to provide a selection of props that matched the style of our wedding reception, they were super easy to work with, and kept things exciting for our guests. Part of the package included a photobook with a copy of all the photo strips our guests took and we have looked through it, and the notes our guests left in the book, multiple times since our event. 100% worth adding this service to keep your guests engaged and elevate your event!

I had the joy of working with Smiling Dog Entertainment this holiday season for two corporate work events. We had two concerts (one with over a thousand attendees and another just south of 500) and I wanted there to be something to engage our guests while they waited for the doors to open. Using Smiling Dog Entertainment for a photobooth and additional decor in the lobby was perfect. Not only was the photobooth beautiful and a complete hit amongst our attendees, this vendor was very organized and arrived hours early to create the backdrop and set up an additional Christmas tree for us in the lobby. They also worked seamlessly with a professional Santa I'd hired to engage guests, who ended up spending most of his time by the photobooth to be in guest photos.

I was equally as appreciative for all of the organization and communication that this vendor provided in the weeks coming up to the events. We were behind in our concert series when an artist canceled last minute, so we were scrambling all the way up to the event. Having Smiling Dog Entertainment be a streamlined and communicative vendor amidst all the hustle was amazing. I even had some last minute adjustments that they catered to flawlessly. They were even able to fulfill another need by assisting in the decorating the lobby area with extra Christmas decor (It's my understanding that this was not something they typically do, but were willing to pivot with us and we paid extra for this service).

Overall, I was extremely happy and appreciated this company. I have a couple photos that aren't uploading, but if I can get them to save, I'll include them.

They were great at communicating with us in advance to get our photo booth set up exactly how we envisioned it. Nathan did an excellent job working with students and families for over three hours at our family night event!

I reached out to Shane because I wanted to rent a neon sign for my wedding; however, my venue did not let us hang anything on the walls. I’m pretty sure my conversation with him started out with me asking, “Um… maybe we could hang the sign from a structure? And put it near the dance floor and give the dance floor a kind of night-clubby feel?” Based on my not very well-formed ideas, Shane created an entire marquee with lightbulbs, added a backdrop in my color of choice, AND included silk floral arrangements. I was so excited to see it at the wedding— it totally transformed the entire reception room! We got so many compliments on it throughout the night, including one person saying it didn’t even look real 😂. Also, it was rented to me for an affordable price, and Shane dropped it off and picked it up for no additional charge! I highly recommend working with Smiling Dog Entertainment— the sign that they designed for me is available for rent now, or you could have them design something else that you’re envisioning!

Highly Recommend This Photo Booth For a Guest Book!!

We, and our guests, absolutely loved having the open air photobooth. We got excellent photos of guests having a great time all night. We got the guest book with Smiling Dog and people loved writing notes next to their fun photo strips. Plus, Shane and his team were an absolute joy to work with, and everything in the process was so fast to nail down. Most everything is handled via online links which was very convenient for planning our out of town wedding.

Truly, they were one of the highlights of our night!

I cannot recommend Smiling Dog Entertainment enough! We rented their photo booth as well as decor for our wedding! Shane and Susan were so amazing to work with! They asked what my vision was for my wedding and items I wanted to have and they came through with everything I wanted! They traveled to Fort Dodge on Friday to set up everything for the wedding on Saturday! They were so helpful and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it!

On top of them and their services being awesome, their prices are the lowest of anyone I have ever seen. They gave my husband and I the feeling they wanted to make our day perfect for a good price, which I feel is rare to find these days with so many businesses jacking up wedding prices "because they can".
