This is my go to spa for when I want a relaxing yet effective massage. Amanda is amazing at what she does and always offers me both a blissful experience while melting away the tension with a deep/firm pressure. You would never know that they’re currently renovating as the temporary space they built out next door is beautiful enough to be the finished spa. The nail salon got a major facelift and looks lovely as well. I always enjoy looking through their retail and they now sell to go juices which is great for after a session.

I wish I could write a good review of "The Spa". I never want to bad mouth a local establishment, but after two horrible "hair" experiences there - I must share.

I am new to the Litchfield area and after going to the same hair stylist for over 20 years in Westchester, it was time to find a new home for my hair.

I have curly hair and it needs to be cut by a professional who understands curly hair. Also, I am going gray and want to gently ease into a color that softens my skin tones, moving away from my natural dark brown color.

After trying three different establishments in Litchfield County over the past year with little satisfaction, I finally decided to splurge and go to The Spa - figured high end prices came with high end professionalism.

Sadly, this was not the case. I went there to color-correct a mishap from a salon in Waterbury. I asked for highlights, half head. Previously, half head meant you used half the foils you would for a full head. Not the case, got the front and sides highlighted and not the back. Came home and my husband said - go back - they forgot to do your back! I didn't realize that as the stylist didn't show me the back of my head with a mirror.

Second episode just happened yesterday, I went for a single process to cover my graying roots. I asked to blend the color with the rest of my head. I got a very light color, blondish - stylist said once my hair dried, the new color wouldn't look so light. Not the case, this morning my roots looked very light, almost grayish. Both my husband and friend said they missed some gray spots.

I called several times with no response, and finally walked in this morning to talk to someone about getting the color corrected today so I looked good for the holidays. The young GM finally saw me and said we should part ways - this doesn't seem to be a good fit.

"The Spa" - remember its all about your customers. If you lose your customer base, you lose your business. Might want to rethink your snooty, arrogant culture - not the way to attack and grow a business.

Amada is a wonderful massage therapist! A once a month ritual has been established at The Spa LH.

Emily's facials are great, as well as other services. The spa is a delightful treat, even under construction. I can get products I need there. Ladies at the desk are always friendly and helpful. And my drive there is quite relaxing. Thank you all around.

My esthetician was very friendly and getting a bikini wax can be an awkward experience. It wasn’t like that at all. She was fast and efficient all while being friendly and making me feel comfortable. She did a great job. Would definitely recommend

I generally have always had a good experience here. Maybe five years ago they had a couple staff members at the front desk that were a bit cold and short which made me feel like I was an inconvenience. But the staff who handled the actual nail and spa treatments were what kept me coming back, excellent work and service every time.

Fast forward to the last couple years: The atmosphere is even more restful, the staff are friendly and helpful. The current ladies at the front desk are just amazing! As someone who struggles with anxiety, they are exactly the people you want at the front. They have an easy and natural banter that invites you to be present and at ease.

That shift would be enough in itself to illicit a positive review, but I’m reviewing now because two weeks ago I had to bring my three month old baby with me for a pedicure due to our sitter being sick, and everyone was SO kind and patient, including the other clients.

I felt badly but needed to prep for a work trip out of state and my toes were a disaster. My options were limited, so I just brought the baby. I was extremely lucky, many other ladies coming in for their appointments were aunties, moms, or grandmothers. It was such a relief to be treated with kindness. Mind you; My infant was calm and didn’t disrupt the atmosphere. He is a very chill baby. I don’t recommend bringing your kids, there’s no space for them and there’s nothing for them to do, but with my very little guy this happened to work out and I wanted to praise this staff for how professionally and warmly they received me, an exhausted, disheveled, working mom in a bind. Thank you so much to all of you!

The team is always professional and helpful. Rosa is the best! My adult kids come all the way from Boston for her services. It is always a peaceful environment. Always inviting.

Big fan of this local spa! We've gotten massages, some facials, manicures, pedicures, and even gotten my hair done here - every single time has been flawless! Although I don't go as often as I'd like to, I am indeed looking forward to the next time I do!
