Captain Alan started our vacation week off with a bang! He took us to our first fishing spot and immediately got us hooked on catching fish. After we caught our limit of Snapper which did not take long, we moved on to the next spot and started catching fish right away again. Not only does he know how to get you onto catching fish, but he also knows how to get some big fish as well. When we were done fishing, he even cleaned the fish for us which made for some excellent filets. To say we had a great time would be an understatement, we had an EXCELLENT time!! Captain Alan has my recommendation and will be looking him up every time we are in SWFL.

I had the pleasure of fishing with Capt Alan chasing sharks this past week. I will tell you one thing it was a trip of memories that will last a lifetime! Capt Alan was great to work with and explained and patiently guided us through the process of catching these sharks! He has a passion for what he does and his knowledge shows he wants his clients to have a great experience! Great fishing and even better company in the boat. We are already talking about when we can do it again. I highly recommend Capt Alan!!

Would 100% recommend booking a fishing trip with Captain Alan! Better turnout than we expected on our Goliath Grouper trip. 6 fish on deck within 4 hours with one being 130lbs! Very knowledgeable, highly experienced, friendly. You can tell he knows his stuff. When we come back, the only guy I’ll call is Captain Alan!

Our First Perfect Day!
We had a mixed group of seasoned ocean fishermen and newbies who had only fished northern fresh water. Captain Alan is an excellent instructor and knows where to find good fishing spots.

Our group of six reeled the entire time and ended up with a nice selection to take home. It was fun to see the variety of fish we pulled in. (Though most of the fish we threw back!)

Another PERFECT Day!
Four days later the girls and moms in our group took a sightseeing tour with Captain Alan. Along with stopping many times so we could observe dolphins and manatees up close, Captain Alan provided a wealth of information about the area: the islands, the wildlife, the history.

Despite slightly rough waters, the ride was peaceful and educational. We went to a gorgeous island pretty far away to go shelling and eat our lunch. We are thankful for Spengler Adventures and will keep coming back.

First time charter for much of our group. We decided to go with a split trip. 3hrs of Goliath grouper fishing. 3hrs of fishing for lady fish, mackerel, and snapper. He said that was cool. First 3hrs was backbreaking fun with the Goliath grouper. We had about 7-8 bites. Pulled in 2. Both on the smaller end. But that was fine with us. Even the small ones fight harder than anything I have ever experienced. The large one we had (possibly 100+lbs) was a straight adrenaline rush. Lost it sadly. We went out and finished with a couple hours of mackerel fishing. Had an absolutely amazing time. Not only did he provide expert location, equipment, and knowledge. He also taught my family different techniques and how to become better fishermen. Would highly recommend him. He gave us exactly what we wanted and more.

Saying you are kid friendly over the phone and actually being kid friendly are two completely different things. I was nervous bringing my 5 1/2 year old daughter on a charter trip, but captain Alan went out of his way to make the trip a special day for her. From start to finish he was amazing. 10/10 would recommend!

Such a great day!!! Captain Alan was very friendly and extremely helpful! He was very patient with our group and made sure my grandma (84, pictured) had an awesome time. In our short trip, he put us on fish every spot we went!! Would definitely recommend and will be calling him again in the future!
