We rented multiple items from Special Occassions (sailcloth tent, bathrooms, tables, lines, pipe and drape) for a college gala, and everything was perfect! Garner and his staff have been a delight to work with for this large event. Their attention to detail, quick response time to questions, and set up and tear down are why I recommend them and will use them again for my other clients.

Nasty, rusted, broken. Yes. I rented the cheaper chairs. I didn’t need the more expensive ones. When I complained about the condition the guy tried to make me feel like it was my fault for choosing them. If I knew they looked like this and not the picture shown on the site OF COURSE I would NOT have rented them 😡 $400 For 120 dirty chairs. None of them were clean. Not one. They don’t deserve 1 Star.

This company is ridiculous. I would give no stars if allowed. They charge for every little thing and the quality of their dinnerware is poor. Most if the plates were scratched up and the gold trim was gaped up or missing all together. We has to wash most of the dishes ourselves and the glassware still had lipstick on them. The tables were falling apart and taped together. Very poor quality and service. Also to add to the issue they are trying to charge us a cleaning fee. Ridiculous and would not recommend them at all. The delivery guys were the only plus, they were very nice and helpful.

They made an error in quote that cost us an extra $400+ They quoted for grass surface not cement. Refused to honor their own error on day of fundraiser event. Could have been an honest mistake but should have made it right. Not good business practice as far as I’m concerned.

Horrible experience working with them planning my wedding. Highly unprofessional, unfriendly, and very questionable business practices. Hundreds of dollars of hidden fees that are nowhere in the rental contracts or company policies. I will never use them again, and I recommend any one else considering using them look elsewhere. You will regret using this company.

My wife and I are celebrating our 10th Wedding Anniversary this year, November 6th 2015. As I think back on that day, so many people/companies were instrumental in taking away the stress and helping to make sure everything ran smoothly. Special Occasion Rentals was one of those companies. They helped with the planning and logistics for that day and were very professional in doing so. They showed up EARLY, did their job well and that was a big part of us being able to enjoy that special day. We were beyond satisfied with the work that Special Occasion Rentals did for us.

Don't rent chairs here unless you rent the upgraded ones but then they have to deliver them and they charge you more!
