Wow! G (the owner) makes a pie (Sicilian style) to die for. A deep dish style pizza even the likes of El Pres would be giving it a high rating. The redone restaurant gives off an excellent atmosphere and a great middle ground between a turn and burn sports bar'n'grill and an expensive night out downtown. The dining menu has a lot of great options, and that extends to the wine/cocktails as well. I highly recommend stopping by and supporting a local, family owned business that's going to put out a great product and take care of you from the moment you walk in.

Very good food. I came for the pizza. The family that owns this restaurant owned Scotto's Pizza in Randall Park Mall (now an Amazon Fulfillment Center😞). I loved Scotto's Pizza as a kid so it was nice to experience the same taste decades later here at Spennato's. The food was fresh and tasted great. I also had the bacon wrapped scallops - which were yummy😋

The NY style pizza crust was delicious. The sauce, cheese and toppings are also delicious, however the toppings were very light. A little more sauce, cheese and toppings would have made this pizza outstanding. Pizza is not cheap in the first place, I would gladly have paid more to get a great pizza to match the service.

Seven out of the nine people that came to dinner tonight disliked the food. The chicken was rubbery, the pizza was burnt and flavorless. The staff was un attentive and did not know how to serve a large table. The restaurant is small and does not even hold a high capacity of people but the servers looked uncomfortable, uninformed, short replies, and unfriendly. The manager claimed it was her family’s business and refused a refund on one meal. When discussing our disappointment she did not care and was cold. When we said a bad review would be written to warn others of this restaurants atrocities they said to feel free and they did not care. DO NOT recommend. Please learn better costumer service and learn better recipes. Olive Garden served better Italian food and is cheaper.

Ive always had good food from Spennatos- until today. Their New York style pizzas have always been a favorite of mine. Today, I ordered one since I was out in their area and after getting it and driving home (approx 20 min) i found dissapointment. Areas of the cheese were burned, very lille sauce and the toughest and hardest crust I ever had on any pizza. Was barely able to bite & chew it. I called them "just to let them know" and was offered nothing. Maybe one needs to ask for it after receiving a far less than acceptable meal?

Our pasta dishes with meat sauce were very watery and the meat sauce was flavorless. Marinara was a little better. Could not taste any garlic in the garlic knots and they were very dry - salvaged them by asking for butter. Salads were good and place was clean. Staff seemed more interested in socializing at front checkout rather than checking on patrons. For the prices charged (really, $4 for a soft drink?) I expected better. I always had good experiences at the old location. The new location looks better but the food is not what I had come to expect.

First and last time trying this place. Ordered pasta with a mix of marinara and fettuccine sauce. The sauce was so flat, no depth or flavor to it. Service was incredibly slow and not great. They don't seem to be well organized, it looked like employees were constantly bumping into one another. The interior is not what you'd think for an Italian restaurant. And a barn door to the kitchen? Seems like an accident waiting to happen.

This Italian Restaurant is good. The portions are very generous. The dinners include a salad and fresh bread. Service is friendly, polite and prompt. The food tasted good. I enjoyed the eggplant parmesan. He got the sausage and peppers with pasta. He said it tasted good but the sauce was really watery, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
