I was in a jam and couldn't stay at the place I had previously worked out. I was in town with a friend for the flea market as a vendor and stopped in to ask if there was any rooms available. The manager was awesome, and so patient with our situation. The room was nice, beds comfortable, no smells, no bugs. It has 2 double beds, a microwave, a mini fridge. Which I was thankful for all of the above. It's not a rich place, but the people were friendly, and the owner was great. I've stayed in much more expensive motels and gotten worse service there. If you aren't picky about stuff it will work out great for what you need. No tub, but the water pressure was great! I would recommend you also bring in other water to drink. It's in a small town so I'm not surprised about the well water. Like I said previously I would go back just because the service was great and it was quiet.

Didn't stay in a room, wouldn't. Went in for a drink. Walked in and waited several minutes for anyone to even show up behind the bar to serve us. When she finally did it was fine. Cleaner then it used to be.

What a nice local small town, locally owned small business. Donna, the owner is such a great person. Nice bar attached to motel that they own. Great drinks, pizza if you get hungry and cold beverages. Pool table, ATM, and touch tunes available. The room is super clean and comfortable. Better than big hotel chains hands down!! My new overnight stay when trucking through town!!

Donna and the hubby are super nice and have excellent rates on the rooms. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They've gone out their way to save my coffee pot for my visits. The bar in the hotel has excellent prices on beer and the pizzas are phenomenal. The people who frequent the bar are super friendly and treat you as one of their own.

It was a excellent experience, if I could give them more stars I would, a good and loving family that deserves the up most respect. They treated us like if we were part of thier family, they showed us the most compassion I've seen in a long time. Though we got caught up in a severe blizzard storm, and were stranded in an unfamiliar place. They took us in and didn't hesitate to make us feel welcomed and accepted. My respect and gratitude for this family owned business.

Worked in North Central Iowa and had to spend several nights per week in Osage. I had three choices: the relatively nice AmericInn for $110; the locally owned Super 8 for $65; or the Osage Motel for $35 (business rate). Non-business rate is $50. Double Occupancy is $60 (business rate)...nearly double...at which point I would change my review rating to terrible. ||||I don't know if it's reasonable to have any expectations of a motel one pays $35 for- But, there are no bathtubs; just a stand up shower (4 x 4); shower is not for anyone over 5' 0"; pray while showering that nobody else in the motel flushes their toilet; entire room isn't clean (the "five second" rule does not apply anywhere in this place); there is a mini-FRIDGE! and a WINDOW A/C! but if you want to plug them both in at the same time and plug your cell phone in, you'll want to bring your own extension cord.||||No clock, alarm or otherwise. In-room phones but they have no cord. Ha. You can get wifi if you can tap into the wifi from the AmericInn across the street. There is one good bed in the entire motel. Bring padding and pillows.||||If you don't like well water, carry your own water in. The water stinks. Bring fragrant soaps.||||There is a lounge that boasts $1 Miller High Life. It's the kind of place where you walk in and immediately notice the sign behind the bar that states: "If you have a complaint, the door is behind you". It's also the kind of place that you hope you never find your children frequenting.

This was a nice room and cam at just the right time. The clerk was friendly and accommodating. The room smelled a little of cigarette smoke but it was clean and worked for what we needed.
