I have fished many times, and never had an experience like this. The fishing was great, as one would expect, but on top of that, the captain and deckhand, Brian and Cameron, on our boat were AMAZING with their help they offer.
On top of that the hospitality at the lodge was amazing. Some of the most friendly and caring people I’ve ever met, most notably Daphne, the bartender, who’ll make you feel like family.
This is truly one of the best fishing trips of my life.

We had an amazing trip! We caught a lot of fish, all three days. What makes this place special though is the staff. Between the captains, first mates, bartender (Daphinne can’t treat her customers better!), chef (hopefully you get the tomato and caper sauce), hostesses and support staff, they make you feel like you’re a part of the family. The accommodations were clean and the food was good at every meal, don’t forget the late night cookie! Come to Alaska and feel like your home!

This environment is positive and encouraging! Every member is very friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and accessible, and the food is homely. I would highly recommend becoming best friends with Daphne. The new owners have done a lot of work and have an amazing vision for this resort all while maintaining the nostalgic deep sea fishing experience. I highly recommended this secluded and peaceful fishing lodge experience!

This was an unforgettable trip! We enjoyed every minute of our visit and the staff was top notch. We had Captain Hunt and Captain Donnie and both were knowledgable and were great at finding fish and helping us to limit everyday. The scenery and wildlife viewing helped to make our trip. We cannot say enough good things about the lodge and their staff!!

Forget dull conference rooms at an Arizona resort; try bonding over a crab boil dinner or making your own brown bag lunch like a camp kid. The whole thing felt like a corporate trust fall, except with more salmon and fewer awkward hugs.||First off, getting there? You’re not just flying in—you’re floating in. Float plane travel was the kind of “adventurous” that makes you question whether your life insurance is up to date, but also makes you feel like you’re in a Nat Geo special.||Once we landed, the view was so majestic that we all forgot about our email inboxes for a solid 30 minutes. The lodge is remote, beautiful, and peaceful. The rooms? Simple but comfy—and clean enough to make you think they've got a secret cleaning squad on standby.||The fishing! Captain Donnie and Nicole were practically fish whisperers, guiding us through the Alaskan waters with the kind of patience you’d need to deal with a boatload of engineers. Big props to Jenny for handling the logistics. No detail was missed. ||Watching the dock team clean fish was mesmerizing—like a high-stakes sushi showdown, but with way more guts and glory.||Food-wise, the crab boil was legendary, and the DIY sandwich tradition? It's like they knew we all secretly miss elementary school field trips. And the dining staff made you feel like family.||Final perk: whales and eagles. Like, right there. It’s basically Mother Nature saying, “Welcome to Alaska, now go catch some fish and bond with your teammates."||All in all, if your team survives a float plane, fishing, and crab boils together, they can survive anything. Would definitely recommend for team bonding.

This was a great trip. Donnie and Nikki had tough conditions to get us on fish but they were successful and we are leaving with full fish boxes. Food has improved and staff as ever very helpful. Daphne an awesome bartender!

Fantastic 3 days of fishing. Loved our Captain Brian and best deck hand ever RC on the Foxy. Kelsey was fabulous as our wait staff. Always a smile and so accommodating for whatever we needed or asked for. Daphne was is great bar keep. Had a great time. Thanks to everyone! Jim n Deb
