I was in town for a sorority convention and it was really a wonderful experience. The Statehouse Convention Center did a great job. I only deducted one star because they did do maintenance on an escalator one night during one of our activities. They stopped the escalator while people were on it, causing a lot of people to jerk. There was a lot of senior citizens on the escalator. My husband had to help some of the seniors up the steps. They should’ve cleared the escalator prior to cutting it off. That’s my only complaint.

I spent three days here for a Comic Con, it was great, I do wish the elevators were a bit easier to find and more reliable. I have an extremely bad phobia of escalators, so I spent three days going up and down three flights of stairs. Other than that it was amazing. The staff and the volunteers were amazing and helpful and friendly and I can't wait to come back next year!

Attended the Statehouse Convention Center for the 40 Under 40 event. It is a nice center, with plenty of room for people and activities for a range of different events. The only thing I would improve is the signage, especially coming from the hotel going to the center and whatever space the events will be held it. It took a little while for us to find the correct location. Other than that it was good and I would look forward to attending other events held at this venue.

The Statehouse Convention Center is small when you compare it to other larger cities in America. The floor plan for the entire building was well thought out and it had great pedestrian traffic flow. The bathrooms were clean as well as the rest of the area. It is located in historic downtown which is quaint and clean. The surrounding area was crime free and it has a wonderful walkability with a high score of 90-100. Police were present outside of the convention to ensure safety and smooth traffic control.

Nice venue. Went here for the Bridal Show 2023. Bathrooms were clean, venue was fresh and had a great set up. The lost star is due to difficult parking with very limited options. We drove around the block twice looking for parking. The one parking garage Google pulled up was private parking. We ended up finding a side street a few blocks away to park. The Bridal Show was a lot of fun, had numerous booths and vendors...a very fun afternoon!

Always clean. Staff is always more than polite. Rooms are clean and the temperature is decent. They kept it the right temperature for after lunch when all the attendees of the conference feel like dozing off.
