Fantastic early overnight stay for Valentine’s Day ! We chose the Annie Wilcox room for our first time staying at the Steamboat Inn as our first choice was already taken. Sandra texted us that our room was available 2 hours early and she was wonderful getting us an extra log for our fireplace and ordering our take out dinner for us at The Mariner. Even getting me a bacon cheeseburger I was craving that wasn’t on the menu. Over and beyond customer service here ! Location is wonderful even in off season, you can walk everywhere. Some stores were closed but we found plenty of stores to wander around and grab a cocktail or two. We had a fireplace room and it snowed while we were there and it was just magical being on the river. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was wonderful as was 24/7 coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Our only two complaints would be that we thought it was weird at breakfast they only gave us one piece of toast to share and we had to cut it in half ourselves lol. Not a deal breaker whatsoever but just weird. And then again not a deal breaker but I think the furniture in the Annie Wilcox could use a refresh. Seemed a little old and tired even for a rustic Inn. Would definitely come again in the off season, price was great !

My Husband and I have stayed at the Steamboat Inn many times, and always have the nicest experience. Between the unbeatable location and super staff, it really is a treat. We come to town to visit my elderly mother in law, and our treat to ourselves is coming back to Steamboat at the end of the day. |For our latest visit Steamboat was booked, so we decided to try their sister property, The Captain's Mansion. We were not disappointed. I was a little concerned at first since it's like walking into a museum, wondering if we would be comfortable. Our hosts immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed, and soon we were enjoying our surroundings as much as Steamboat. And the Belvedere with views out over Mystic was the perfect place to relax as evening approached. It was elegant but comfortable, full of history, and super comfortable at the same time. If you've enjoyed Steamboat, I highly recommend giving Captain's Mansion a try.

The room was very nice, a small sofa for sitting as well as a fireplace although we did not use it. Had a nice view of the Mystic River. The room included breakfast, which was also very good. Definitely no complaints and would stay there again. We stayed during downtown Mystic‘s Christmas stroll

Great little Inn right in the center of everything in Mystic. Room was comfortable, overlooked the water and bridge, and had a working fireplace. The breakfast included was a nice little bonus. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Will return next time in the area.

My husband and I have been to Mystic many times but it was our first (and wont be our last) time at Steamboat Inn. The room was very nicely kept and had a fireplace and great view of the water. Everything was clean and well maintained. Coffee is always available and breakfast, which is included, is served in an adorable common room. The location is absolutely perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I spent three wonderful nights here and can highly recommend it! It is mere steps from the main street and backs onto the water. The room we had was very large, well appointed, comfortable and clean. We were on the ground floor, it had a walk-in shower and a jetted tub. Having a fridge, sink and coffee maker was very convenient too. You make your breakfast choice the day before from a small menu, there were plenty of choices and all of the food was very good

They went above and beyond to treat us like special guests. The Inn was beautiful. Our view was amazing. Staff was gracious. Our breakfast was delicious, and our server provided top notch service. We rebooked as soon as we got home. This Inn is a keeper!

This is an impeccably clean and beautiful inn right on the river! The suites are just lovely! Unfortunately, during our visit there was disruptive construction, but I cannot say enough about how the inn owner compensated us and made it “right.” I’m truly impressed with the professionalism and care given to her customers. We will definitely return in the future and will recommend this lovely inn to everyone.
