An absolutely beautiful venue! I was attending an event here, and although I have noticed the signage on my travels through Dubuque, I felt more comfortable using Google Maps to make sure I was going in the right direction. Parking was on the street; I was fortunate to find something on the same block as I did arrive about 15 minutes early. The building used to be the St Mary's Catholic Church which had shut down and has now been revitalized into a sort of community/event center from what I can tell. My hosts claimed their were approximately 200 people at our event, just to give you an idea of seating capacity.

We are so happy we chose Steeple. Not only is the venue gorgeous but it held so many special things for us! My husband attended church there and the program provides a portion back to the Maria House.
Lori was excellent to work with and allowed us to bounce ideas off her and worked so well with us! She was patient and helped with areas we were struggling, she made herself available as much as needed and made sure we were ok with everything! we had plenty of space for the guys upstairs and the girls down in the basement where we all did hair and makeup.
*if you plan to have cocktail hour they ask for two hours just a heads up. We didn't know that and had originally scheduled ours for an hour.
*depending how big parking can be limited but you can use DB&T's lot in addition to Steeples. Not one of our guests mentioned parking or lack there of!

I attended a wedding here and it was the first time I'd been here since the renovation. I have to say they have elegantly blended the church's past with its future. I'm glad they were able to keep this part of Dubuque's history around a while longer.

Melanie was the best to work with! My wife and I got married there in 2020 and with everything going on, she was very accommodating. The renovations to the facility look amazing so far but it was to see some of the original artwork from the church's past. We had a very memorable night.

Everything about Steeple Square was awesome for our wedding. Melanie was nothing but helpful when planning our day. Every accommodation we asked for was met without hesitation. Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly - she even took pictures of my dad and I before we walked down the aisle and sent them to me!

The area around Steeple Square has been improved greatly and we ended up taking lots of pictures outside/in front of the buildings. If you want a beautiful venue, with the relaxed atmosphere to make it your own, I would have your event here!

I highly recommend Steeple Square for your event. Melanie did an excellent job and bends over backwards to make sure everything runs smoothly. I can't say anything bad about this place. My daughter's wedding took place here. We had around 150 people. There is parking on the street and also in a couple of lots across the street. I thought parking might be an issue for that many people but it wasn't. The catering set up was perfect. The venue is absolutely beautiful. Everything worked out perfectly. I highly recommend Steeple Square and Melanie is the absolute best!
