I can’t say enough good things about Stoic Events Jill and Darren are amazing! From set up to tear down and everything in between they were beyond helpful. They were constantly handling things behind the scenes and taking care of every last detail. It took so much pressure off of my family and I knowing we were in such good hands. For the most import day of your life you want Jill & Darren by your side! I can’t thank them enough!

We had the pleasure of participating in a wedding at Kingsburg Ranch with Jill and Darren! We spent a few days with them setting up, coordinating and of course the wedding day. Jill was super sharp and flexible and honestly just fun to be around. She coordinated the wedding and it made all the difference. Darren was such a great problem solver and jumped in wherever he could be helpful, from maintenance to introducing the couple at the reception, he was down to help everywhere! Their girls were super kind and overall, this family and the people they have around to help are top notch. Highly recommend Stoic Events and Kingsburg Ranch!

Where to start? Darren and Jill’s vast amount of wedding and event knowledge, the huge number of ideas and wonderful creativity, the awesome personalized involvement and amazing level of hands on help, or the endless supply of patience for the bride and grooms questions and changes? All of it is what made our wedding the most AMAZING thing ever!
Darren and Jill at Stoic Events were one of the very few event planners that would even consider taking on our unusual wedding plans. A true Speakeasy wedding. A wedding performed in a speakeasy, that was choreographed and was put on as a scripted play.
The number of details, changes, meetings and reviews was intense and new for us all, and they handled it like another day at the park. From vendors and furnishings, to floor plans, placement, organization and costumes, they were absolutely awesome!
They have all of the guidelines, budget sheets, and advice everyone should want, and the tips and tricks that you don’t even know you absolutely need!
If you want your event to be the amazing ‘day to remember’ that it should be, then you absolutely need to have Darren and Jill at Stoic Events at your side to help you make it happen.

We hired Darren from Stoic Events as our wedding officiant for our June 10th wedding. It was so much fun to get to know Darren and work with him on our ceremony script. We were looking for someone who could do a non-religious ceremony with some aspects of our Latino traditions. He was great at researching the Lasso ceremony and finding a way to incorporate it with our own spin.

His initial outreach was fun and informal. It really helped us talk about our relationship in a way that was genuine and brought out the important parts to add to the ceremony script. He was willing to meet us wherever worked best for us and he was willing to change the script multiple times to get it right.

On the day of, we had a few mic problems, but Darren was able to work through it and even the guests in the back of our ceremony seating said they could hear him perfectly clear without the mic.

We had many of our guests say that our ceremony was the perfect representation of our relationship and personalities. We truly have Darren to thank for that! Stoic Events will truly take time to understand you as a couple. I highly recommend working with them!

I can’t express enough how wonderful Jill and Darrin are to work with. They made our special day so magical. Not only do they have a beautiful and amazing venue they are kind and lead with an open heart and open mind. If you are looking for a special place for your event this is absolutely it!! I am so thankful we had the opportunity to get married at Kingsburg Ranch and had Jill to coordinate and bring our vision to life effortlessly. I highly recommend Kingsburg Ranch (Stoic Events). My family and I had our daughter's Quinceanera event here. The venue is beautiful!! Furthermore, Jill and Darren were patient, understanding, and extremely helpful. We feel extremely lucky to have found and met them. Our daughter had the night of her life and she will never forget it. We could not have done it without them. Thank you again Jill and Darren!!
