My mother has been at HarborChase of Shaker for close to 8 months or more. She has been treated very well. Her nurse has a beautiful heart and sense of ownership and accountability to the health and wellbeing of our mother. The accommodations are first class and the building is kept very clean. They are very accommodating of the needs of family members and treat us very very well. I've seen "all hands on deck" in serving a great Thanksgiving meal to residents and their extended families. They made it a very special day for us and others. Nothing is perfect and they are growing with some expected pain. They keep the residents busy with field trips, boat rides etc and bring in very good musicians, artists and even NASA engineers. We have had bad luck at a different assisted living apartment. HC is a completely different experience and has earned our trust in keeping our mother safe and stimulated mentally and physically. I would recommend HC for others and would want it for myself if I am blessed enough to live that long.

My dad lives here. The front line staff are excellent, uniformly polite and kind to my dad and to us when we visit. Not a sour apple among them. From reading these reviews, it seems to me that Patrice has a well-earned fan club somewhere. She deserves it. Never seen her stressed, even when working both the dining room and the bar. I'm just waiting to get old enough that I can move in and see her more often.

My best friends mother was placed in the memory care unit. She absolutely loved the initial tour and care she is receiving. Ms. Hornikel is uplifting, compassionate and professional. One can tell she really cares about the residents. I highly recommend Harbor Chase.

Dined at The Grill Room, where we had an extraordinary 5-course dinner. The food was fabulous and the service was impeccable. Patrice, our server, was on point and our bartender Stephan delivered. Thank you for the best experience Shaker Heights has to offer.

I toured HarborChase and loved the community. I was extremely impressed with the management team and look forward to moving my mother in next month. I would recommend this community to everyone. The restaurants are amazing.

My father volunteered here and has never been treated more poorly as a volunteer. If they can’t treat their volunteers well, I can’t imagine they treat their residents much better. I can’t help but to notice other reviews, and the majority of positive reviews are clearly fake, or made under false pretenses from friends of “Terry”. This facility and company are full of red flags, please do your due diligence and research before moving yourself or a loved one into this facility. Or save some time and just take the word of former employees and volunteers.

I was very impressed with Harbor Chase and I have known The Executive Director for over 20 years. She is the best Administrator I have ever worked with, always puts the residents first. Wherever Terry has worked, the residents are always happy!
