I have heard so many great things about Studio Central so I decided to give them a call and see if they were able to do hair and make-up for myself and my wedding party.

When I called Dan (manager/coordinator) picked up the phone and you can tell he picked up with a smile, the tone in his voice was extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. Immediately that made me love this place, you can tell a lot about a place by something as simple as picking up the phone.

I talked to Dan quite a bit, he was incredibly patient with me due to me having a ton of questions. He went over all the pricing and how everything would work that day. This was awesome because I was able to give all the girls the information way ahead of time. This allowed them to plan out exactly what they wanted and gave them some prep time.

I was incredibly busy leading up to the wedding, I just had no time to come in for a hair trial, this is not something they usually do, but Dan talked to Bill (the owner as well as the one doing my hair), Bill let me just send in a picture of what I wanted.

The morning of they let my wedding party and mother-in law set up a bunch of food platters, juices, water etc..

They we're super accommodating, let us just do our thing 🙂

There were 8 of us, so not too many but definitely enough of us to take up some time. They had 3 people doing hair and 1 person doing make-up. They we're super efficient, we got out ahead of schedule.

Samra did everyone's make-up, she did such a great job. She made everyone look even more stunning than they are already 😉 Everyone wanted a more natural look and she listened to that. She would give her opinion when asked and just knew what would look good on who. She is absolutely stunning herself and made all our makeup look stunning as well.

Caitlin, Christine and Bill did everyone's hair. They all took the time to listen to what we wanted, studied our faces for a second to see what would look great with all of our facial structures. The girls would give them an idea and they would just go with it. It came so easy and everyone was absolutely pleased with how they all looked. Everyone felt FABULOUS!

Bill did my hair, the picture I emailed him was a picture that was only one sided. He immediately knew what he was going to do with my hair based off of my facial structure. I wanted a low hair style with bunched up curls with some sort of braid on the side. He beyond exceeded my expectations, the style he did on my hair was as everyone said "SO HOLLYWOOD". He did such a beautiful job. I couldn't have been happier with how my hair came out.

I would highly suggest Studio Central if you are looking for a new hair stylist or if you are looking for a crew to do your hair and make up for any event.

They made the day so stress-free. They all cracked jokes with us , made the day so light and easy going. There was absolutely no worries, everyone was so great. You would never know that I was getting married that morning due to how relaxed everything was.

From the minute I called Studio Central to the time we walked out of their building the experience was incredible. There was no better place to be the morning of my wedding. I am so grateful for all of them making us all look and feel so incredibly beautiful. That is the exactly what every bride, bridal party, woman etc should feel. Absolutely stunning.

I could keep going on about my experience but I'll cap it at this.

This place is amazing! It is such a family there and I always enjoy my visits! I always go to Caitlin and she listens to me and has the best suggestions for what to do with my hair. She's so kind and truly cares about the people she styles. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I love this place! I love the atmosphere, very unassuming, down to earth and cozy! Most important the talent at Studio Central is amazing. From Bill the owner being masterful with his scissors to Caitlin a great colorist and Dan who always remembers my name and says hello when you walk in the door. I get the feeling its not about the money they charge its about your hair. They really want you to be happy with their services. They take there time, they listen and at the same time offer their advice which always seems right! I had been with the same salon for about 12 years before moving to the Glastonbury area and tried many in the area but was not happy. I found Studio Central and glad I did. I have been there twice and my hair although damaged from other salons is NOW looking healthy and shiny. I am super happy with them and think they are all great people!

Walking in to Studio Central is like walking in to a big hug from old friends! The crew here is so warm, friendly and talented! Dan, the manager, is awesome and so personable! I go to Jess for my hair and have yet to be disappointed! She is such a wonderful stylist and person. She listens to what you are looking for and properly brings it to life. This place is a great little escape to pamper yourself and spend time with really genuinely nice people too!

Christine McKenna has been my stylist for the past five years. She saved my hair, which had been damaged by cancer treatments and all of the associated stressors, by trying out a product (Olaplex) on herself and then recommending it to me based on the condition of my hair. She saved my hair. She continues to rock the cuts/colors and styles that I want.

Bill and Dan are the owners / managers of the salon and are some of the kindest, most professional biz owners in the area.

The salon is clean, well managed and has ample parking.

I had my first visit with Christine this past week. She was able to get me in quickly. She understood what I wanted to do with my hair and had a “vision” even though I had no idea what I wanted myself! My hair is beautiful- I finally have a style!! I was so impressed I brought my 7 year old daughter in- Christine is magical. My daughters hair is breathtaking. She has the cutest little style that fits her personality perfectly. The owners are so nice- everyone is warm and welcoming. Love the energy!! Will definitely be back!! ❤️
