Was lucky enough to work with Sweet Bean Events on two family events this year, including one where the whole thing got planned from start to finish in less than two weeks. Because of Jenifer, I had the pleasure of being a guest at my own party. It was AWESOME. Usually I'm the super-frazzled host, frantically trying to keep everything running smoothly and inadvertently ignoring the people I want to hang out with in the process. NOT THIS TIME!

Here's what I liked about working with Jenifer:
She's kind. She's patient and compassionate. She's funny and warm. She's full of creative-yet-feasible ideas and inspired artistic vision, but she also skillfully manages the scope and the budget of the project.
She manages all the different lines and threads of communication with all the different stakeholders so well.
She has great relationships with multiple vendors and negotiates on your behalf. She generally brings out the best in everybody with whom she works.

What an incredible small business in CT run by Jenifer Johnson. She was tasked with creating a launch party for my daughters book release. My daughter told her generally what her vision was and Jenifer created it beyond anyones expectations!!! Everything was seamless and if it wasnt, we didnt know because she solved any issue before it became a problem. Her attention to detail, vision, execution, follow up and follow through were amongst the best that i have ever seen! She is the consummate professional and is on speed dial for our next event!!!

My husband and I first enlisted Jenifer’s help almost two years before our wedding. We initially planned to get married a few months after our first conversation with Jenifer only to decide to push the celebration out a whole year, a decision I’m very happy with because it meant we got to work with Sweet Bean Events + J for an extra year.

I feel unique in saying that we never felt stressed leading up to or on the day of our wedding, thanks in large part (entirely) to Jenifer and the broader team of vendors.

Sweet Bean Events planned and organized our son's second birthday party. They were extremely professional, responsive, detail orientated, creative. They helped us choose a great venue for the event, negotiated a great price, helped us with menu selection, decorated the room with the theme we had in mind, arranged for multiple kids activities. They kept us in the loop in every decision, but took full ownership of making sure the delivery was perfect. We came to our own party as guests as everything was taken care of. We hired Jenifer and her team to help us coordinate an outdoor party of ~40 people for our anniversary. She was honestly a dream come true. Jenifer was communicative, responsive to our ideas, and completely on top of things. The day of was so relaxed because she and her team handled everything, including gorgeous decor that we didn't have to specify. Hands down the best. I was the bride that didn’t think she needed an event planner. Well was I wrong. Jenifer handled everything with grace, patience, and love. This was my second marriage… events are different with having 5 children under the age of 10. We met with Jenifer once maybe twice before she completely understood our vision, and she took off running. She fulfilled every dream, actually better than any expectations, while allowing me to carry on my “mom duties” of 5 small children.
