Ashley was absolutely incredible and we could not have gotten through our day without her. As a bride who was indifferent to decor and some other things - Ashley was able to pull my vision together and make everything run smoothly. She was extremely patient with me throughout the process and helped us through every step of the way even down to building out our ceremony and reception timeline. We even had an incident where our arch broke (lol) and Ashley came to the rescue and used our florals as a backdrop instead accentuating the view from our venue. Ashley also handled all of our signage and florals which were GORGEOUS and far exceeded my expectations. It's shocking to me she's not a full time flower designer and the fact that she offers this service ON TOP of coordinating with the venue and all of the vendors is incredible.

As a couple who was initially on the fence about whether our not we needed a coordinator - looking back we don't know how we would have made it without Ashley and SSE. Don't second guess, just hire them!!

Ashley is awesome. Dave and I chose to have a wedding at the shore. We had a welcome night on Friday October 7 and a beach wedding followed by a reception on Saturday October 8; there were a lot of moving parts. Instead of choosing the “typical” wedding venue, we chose The Whitebrier in Avalon, NJ, a popular bar at the Jersey Shore. I, personally, wanted this venue because I always loved the wood-inn-feel it had, plus The Whitebrier’s sprawling space with both indoor and outdoor space appealed to me. Dave trusted me, and since our families are both frequenters of the Jersey shore, he was happy with the choice, especially because The Whitebrier was a laid back choice.

When we visited The Whitebrier in January of 2022 for a preliminary walkthrough, my parents were nervous about my venue choice and, quite frankly, questioned my sanity. The Whitebrier has a red bar room, with a mermaid. I’ll say it again, my parents were nervous.

Ashley came with us for a second walkthrough in August 2022 and I explained that although The Whitebrier looked a little rough, I saw potential. Ashley saw the potential too. She was optimistic that she could transform the space when my parents were not. She heard my parents’ concerns, and told them that she was “on it.” On top of assuring me that the venue would be beautiful, Ashley helped direct me to the florist, Amber & Earth, who suggested treating each room at The Whitebrier separately and to not try to force white flowers in such an eclectic space.

About a month out from Dave’s and my wedding, I was nervous about things coming together. As I said before, there were a lot of moving parts with two nights of activities, a live band, a beach wedding, transportation, etc. Ashley redirected me and told me to let her do her thing and I am so happy that I trusted her.

Our welcome night on October 7 was wonderful and warm; Ashley decorated the tables with flowers and candles at Polpo. When Dave and I, our bridal party, and of course, my parents, walked into The Whitebrier on October 8, we were blown away. Our wedding was magical and warm. I still am in awe at how Ashley and her team, along with Amber, transformed The Whitebrier. John, an owner of The Whitebrier, said that his restaurant never looked so beautiful and that Ashley was amazing to work with. My parents even said they were wrong; they loved every aspect of the wedding. Ashley floored me at her attention to detail; she’s a girl after my own heart!

Every guest had wonderful things to say; a lot of the guests wondered why my parents were ever concerned about the venue (I suppose my parents were vocal about disapproving of the venue). One of our wedding guests requested Ashley’s phone number and used her to plan his 40th because he was so impressed with Ashley’s transformation of The Whitebrier.

I recommend Ashley over and over again.

Ashley and her team at SSE is ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! She is amazing to work with and made my wedding dreams come to life!! She was also my florist for our wedding day and she knocked it out of the park!! Ashley is professional, attentive, caring, and so kind!! I felt so cared for by her on my wedding day and could not thank her enough !!!

Ashley did an incredible job making sure that our June 4th 2023 wedding was everything that we wanted. She did an excellent job coordinating vendors, setting up the decor and florals, and keeping us at ease on the day of. There were several aspects that we grew nervous about as the day approached, but Ashley did a superb and timely job of answering all of our questions and adjusting as needed. Our wedding was perfect, and Ashley had a big part of that.

Ashley is the BEST at what she does! we hired her for coordination of our backyard wedding on my family farm and she played an integral role from start to finish. Every. Single. Detail. Was executed with precision. We had so many moving parts in play, from rentals to electrical to parking to water access and she handled everything with the care and knowledge of a seasoned professional. There are things we hadn’t thought of and hadn’t planned for that she took control of and handled with visible ease. She is communicative and thorough all while being someone we truly enjoyed being around during planning and wedding events alike. The value of what she provides FAR outweighs her cost, as she treats your wedding day like her own and doesn’t stop until she’s fully satisfied. We cannot recommend her and the swell signature events team enough! Thanks Ashley!!

Ashley was fantastic to work with as our wedding planner! She took on all the stress, and provided us with no worry or doubt along the way. Her ideas were wonderful, she was easy to communicate with, and she went above and beyond in the day of our event to give us the best experience possible! I can honestly say I could not of done this without her, and if you are considering hiring a planner you should hire this team!

Ashley was so amazing to work with. Not only is she super talented and organized, she does everything with the most positive and cheerful attitude. We used her as a partial planner and without her I would have been beyond stressed. I also recommend using her for flowers and tablescapes - no need for fancy wedding “design” companies that charge tons money. My only complaint is that I didn’t find her sooner. 🙂
