Just out of town yet within reach, the Swiss Holiday Lodge affords one with some much needed privacy after a day of taking in the shops. Romantic flowers were in bloom on our arrival. Lots of amenities and the staff were awesome. The pool was nice and chill on a hot day, and the hot tub was actually hot! Thanks Swiss Holiday Lodge!

I am from the Midwest and have lived in Siskiyou County for 15 years. I have long recommended this little spot for my family and friends when they come to visit because the rooms are nice enough, it's got easy access to town and the interstate and really fair pricing.
However, this particular instance has me rather disappointed and ensured I would never recommend it again. I had a close friend who came up for her husband's appointment, and she was looking for a spot to stay for the night. I told her Swiss Lodge was a good option! She booked. Her husband was in the hospital, and she wanted company. We agreed we'd come over and take a brief swim, then head to the park for a little picnic. We were not even in for more than 10 minutes when the front desk/owner came up and asked if we were all guests, my friend said no she was and we were with her said before she could finish her sentence he said "absolutely not, you must leave, you are not welcome to invite others" I was shocked. I've never heard of such a policy. It was myself, a 6 year old, my 17 year old and their hotel guest. He was short, unwelcoming, and quite frankly, I won't be recommending them any longer. Also, I noticed the pool was actually in a state of pretty bad disrepair, cracks, and gaps in the liner.

Solid place to stay with easy access to Highway 89, Interstate-5, and downtown Mt. Shasta! They take pride in the property and it is kept up well. They also have a little patio area with cornhole and a place to relax outside. They also have a pool and a jacuzzi! I would stay here again.

I stayed 3 nights in April. I would highly recommend Swiss Holiday Lodge. The managers were very helpful and I enjoyed Mt Shasta especially the drive upto 7000ft on the mountain. Mount Shasta has great restaurants and plenty of EV charging stations. It was colder than I expected but the room was cozy.

My husband, 2 dogs and I enjoyed our stay here. This lodge is close enough to the shops/food but also out of the main town area for some quiet. They had a huge grass area for the dogs. We loved the hot tub and the rooms you could tell we're well taken care of.

We stayed here twice, once on our way to Mexico on our mission trip and on our way back this year. It was interesting that we got the same room so it felt like coming home. The Hot tub was open on our return trip but we didn’t pack suits so we didn’t get to enjoy it but it is nice to know for next time!
The beds were comfortable and there were enough nice soft towels for all of us.
Refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker were in the room.
Breakfast was in the lobby with a nice selection of cereal, breads, pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and fruit. I was especially happy that they had almond milk because we are lactose intolerant.
My only complaint would be the nice comfortable sofas in the lobby were not easy to get in and out of with a plate or bowl of food and holding a cup of coffee. I would like to see them change them out with arm chairs.
They are also pet friendly!

Bright white LED lights in the room need softer lighting. The hot tub was closed 12/12/23. Front desk staff was friendly and quick amazing location nice and quiet. Rooms could use an upgrade. Fair price for what you get.

We stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed it so much. We had gorgeous views of Mt Shasta out the window from our pillow and we also enjoyed sitting in one of the outside areas and doing our own Happy Hour there each day with amazing views of Mt Shasta. So many motels in this area have no outdoor area....||The room was very well equipped with microwave, coffeepot, and nice frig with freezer section that was nice for ice packs for coolers. And all of this when they also include breakfast every day. A cold buffet of breads, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, etc etc. We didn't do this but they also have picnic tables and BBQ grills for people who want to do their own dinner right there (with a full shared kitchen available). Bed was very comfy and although the bathroom was small, it had everything needed and a nicely tiled shower.||I would definitely stay there again! Relaxing, enjoyable, with nice host family...and the best views to enjoy while relaxing over a glass of wine!
