So glad we went on this excursion while visiting Haines! Barb was excellent, leading us up the mountain and to magical views. The ATVs were totally manageable but surely an adventure to drive. Not too much walking at all which made this a great trip for my father in law who was with us and does better driving than walking. The kids who are younger than 10 also had a blast as riding in the ATVs was totally thrilling for them! A wonderful morning with beautiful forest, mountains and lakes to see and excellent food to eat! Thank you Barb and the Takshanuk Mountain trail team!

So glad this ATV Trail ride and luncheon was found for our excursion stop in Haines. Sabrina, and Rita were great trip guides and the lunch was very good. It was nice to have homemade food after so many cruise ship meals. Our family of five (teenagers 16-19) all enjoyed themselves. Just under 30 people were on our tour. The scenic views were incredible, and the switchback made for a fun ride. This is a locally owned and operated tour operator.

So much fun!!! We were visiting family in Haines and went on the Takshaunuk ATV adventure. We had a blast! The guide, Angie was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing!!! The views were breathe taking. I highly recommend!!!

So much fun driving the 4 seater Kawasaki mules on the mountain trail up to some beautiful sites. A great lunch of. Halibut and chicken , roasted potatoes all cooked in a huge outdoor smoker. Salad and waldorf salad. In a cabin warm and cozy. Great tour guides. Always happy to take ur pictures. Scenery was beautiful. Loved it

We booked this excursion and were very very excited however our cruise itinerary changed and we had to cancel it. I emailed them about canceling and they replied right away and issued a full refund. Amazing customer service!!!!! I hope that eventually scheduling will allow us to experience this excursion in the future.

Of all the things we did during our cruise to Alaska, this was my favorite. Since our cruise ship didn't call Haines until the evening hours (5 pm to 10 pm), they added this extra evening excursion, and I'm so glad they did. It was rugged enough to feel like we were getting off the beaten path, but also tame enough to include my septuagenarian mother and her bff. Sabrina was our bus driver, as well as our guide up the mountain, and she was both knowledgeable and hilarious. She was assisted by Rita, who went above and beyond with her friendliness and service. The trails and views were amazing, and we felt like we were living a once in a lifetime experience. We stopped at the lodge for a delicious dinner of halibut and smoked chicken, prepared by Jake. We had eaten a lot of halibut during our trip, but this was hands down, the best we ate anywhere. I'd love to know what was in his batter! We didn't have much time to explore anything else in Haines, but we feel we got the best of it by going up the Takshanuk Mountain Trail. Highly recommend. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

This was an awesome experience. It was the only excursion that my 85-year-old step-father could do. Barb and her husband were very accommodating, as his mobility is very limited. Sabrina was our guide and she was both informative and funny. The ATVs were a little intimidating at first, but after a few minutes, it was all good. A great time!
