Taryn and her team are the absolute best!!! We did full planning with Taryn, and she made the entire process soooo much less stressful than it would have otherwise been. We didn't want a super fancy wedding, and she never pushed us to do anything at a bigger scale than what we wanted but provided sage advice and wedding industry expertise that helped us make decisions about our budget. I'm beyond grateful that we made the investment of hiring her - it made a huge difference in our quality of life during the 18 months that we were planning! Taryn was so calming, kind, and on top of things at every step of the way. She had great ideas for the design (which turned out just gorgeous!) and was super collaborative. She also had excellent suggestions for vendors. When it came time for our wedding weekend, we were able to completely relax and be in the moment because we trusted her so much to run the day smoothly. She and her team (shoutout to Caleb and Adreanna) handled everything so beautifully, and my new husband and I had the best day we could have imagined! I wish every couple could have a Taryn for their wedding - the peace of mind she gave us was an incredible gift.

If you want to have the smoothest wedding day possible, surrounded by the most professional and attentive to detail team, then Taryn is your go-to. My (now) husband and I have very busy jobs, and planning a large cultural wedding was going to take up so much time that neither of us had. Taryn made this process incredibly smooth and so stress free for us which was so so important. She gave birth to her sweet twins right around our wedding date so she unfortunate could not be there to celebrate with us in person, but she provided multiple extra coordinators on the day of to make sure everything went PERFECT. My husband and I felt nothing but bliss on our wedding day and that was all thanks to Taryn and her team, we cannot thank you enough!

I’m sure I’ll get wordy with this review, but the long and short of it is that you should hire Taryn to plan your wedding. I am a type a worrier, and few people in this world could have alleviated my anxiety the way Taryn did. She handles every detail in the calmest way possible, making what is usually a very stressful process feel calm and doable. She was patient with my husband and I wanting very specific vendors to suit our style, and helped us break down the planning process into bite sized chunks. As a result, we were able to relax in the week leading up to our wedding, which is a rare rare thing! The day-of was incredibly smooth, and Taryn handled the tiny inevitable things that pop up like a pro, keeping me calm while being transparent. (Taryn had the bravery to block my drunk uncle from taking the mic for an impromptu speech.) We are so grateful for Taryn, who is kind, conscientious, and on top of every detail so that you don’t spend this happy period tearing your hair out. Thank you for taking our vision and making our wedding day so beautiful, Taryn! We are incredibly grateful.

We hired Taryn over a year ago for our January 2020 wedding. We decided to work with her after our hour long discovery call, in which I really connect with Taryn's work ethic and expectations. Over the year leading up to the wedding, Taryn's responsiveness and open communication made me trust her completely (hard for a Type A personality!). On the day of our wedding, Taryn's trustworthiness allowed me to hand almost everything off to her so I could focus on having fun and enjoying the day. Everything was executed to a T, and turned out better than I had imagined. Even our guests were raving about how "on top of it" and helpful Taryn and Caleb were. I cannot thank them enough!

I was lucky enough to have worked with Taryn at a wedding I had photographed recently and in the 10+ years I've been a wedding photographer, I have never been as impressed and inspired by a coordinator! She is calm, empathetic, thoughtful, professional, and focused. She handled every difficult situation that arose throughout the day with grace. I witnessed firsthand how Taryn and Caleb kept things moving smoothly from the start of the day to the very end of the night. The bride and groom were of course their top priority, but they also made sure the guests and vendors were taken care of as well.

So Cal Wedding Consultant was a breeze to work with. I am a vendor, and I worked with Taryn last week on a beautiful wedding in Orange County, and it couldn't have been easier. She made the whole planning and setup process very simple for us. Timing and planning is crucial in the wedding industry, and she is clearly an expert. My business does a LOT of weddings so I would like to think that I am a good judge when it comes to other organizations in the industry.
