I love, love, loved this tour! Kim was the BEST historical, funny, southern, town heritage loving guide! The food was fantastic. Jonas will definitely be a new place to go for an out of town date night. Thank you for a wonderful Saturday!

It’s called an “exclusive food tour” blended with the history of Thomasville. I think it’s important to break down the key aspects because I think they are ironically distinct. The history didn’t really blend with the food, and it got pulled every different random direction that popped into Kim’s head. The food is prepared on a schedule to ensure it’s hot and fresh and the real life implications of the randomness of our tour is when we go to random unplanned stops then it affects the food experience. It said “about 3 hours” and we were closing in on 4 hours with no end in sight when I tapped out. The fried green tomato’s, crab cakes and pizza were all luke warm when we finally ate them.

I’ll rate based on the two unfortunately separate aspects of the tour. I do feel like it would flow better and feel more streamlined if it was more integrated. Or if Kim was kept on a schedule…..

Kim is absolutely the personality you want leading something like this. She may just need coaching on precision and schedule. I think guests experience hinges on this. Several people looked frazzled after walking around based on what felt like Kim’s whims for an excessive period of time. 4 hours is too long, I think I could have easily managed 3 hours even with how random it was.

I think her intent is good, and if it was free my review would be different. But given it’s a service that customers are charged for then it makes it tough to rationalize recommending something of this sort.

We had a fantastic time on the Taste of Thomasville Food Tour celebrating my husband’s birthday. All the food samples were amazing! We were with a fun group from Tallahassee. We will definitely take the tour again…it was that much fun and loved learning the history of Thomasville, Georgia. Debra was the BEST tour guide!

What a fun experience!! The food was delicious and downtown Thomasville is so cute! The best part of the experience was our tour guide, Kim!!! She was so sweet and so funny. She knew her history too. I went with my girlfriend's but I'm ready to go back and bring my hubby.

Our group of 6 spent this past Saturday on the lunch tour with Hope as our guide and had the Best Saturday! The food was exceptional and so much of it! Hope was awesome and full of history, knowledge and laughs! Will definitely be booking the dinner tour very soon!
