The Teachout Building was the perfect venue for our wedding. Kaitlin was such a joy to work with. She communicated with us well, allowed us to come and take a look around any time we wanted, and helped us make big decisions for our day. The Teachout Building is stunning and decorated in itself. It was so nice to be able to get in Friday to decorate for Saturday and bring in vendors of our choosing. We absolutely love this venue and it is so special to us. We could not recommend this venue more.

We went to see the space, it was beautiful and we wanted more information so I reached out to Kaitlin on numerous occasions and she just ignores my calls and emails. I feel like we were racially profiled and I would never want to do business with them. Which is sad because we loved that space. Horrible experience 👎🏽

Working with Kaitlin at the Teachout Building was one of the easiest experiences in our wedding planning process. She was very accommodating, and easy going throughout the whole process.

The space itself is the perfect blank slate with beautiful features already added in. From the hardwood floors, almost floor to ceiling windows and the old walls, its the perfect space for minimal decorations. You'll love the natural light beaming in for your photos and the charm of the building will make the perfect backdrop for any style of wedding.

We got married here in April and we had the BEST time! It was so great to be able to bring in any vendors that we selected, and bring our own alcohol. We had such a great experience and Kaitlin was great to work with! We would definitely recommend!

This venue was really neat, the space is very unique, has a rustic feel. Large open areas are complimented by divided, smaller spaces. Feels cozy but not too tight. We were allowed to decorate with few restrictions: stapling into walls, real candles, and papering over open sections of wall were all allowed. Parking is not optimal, which made setup a little awkward. Location is cool, being right in the East Village and above UpDown, which can make for a fun after-party.
