I want you to know that I don't have a stake in the game anymore, my mom passed on April 19th 2024. I want to share my experience with anyone looking at the Chelsea as an option for their family member. It's my way of saying Thank You to the Chelsea!

My mom had been a resident at The Chelsea of Sparta since January 2023. The facility is extremely clean and has many outing and activities throughout the week, my mom was very active. Her fellow residents were gracious to include her and she became fast friends with many. The activities team, wow what a great group of people, they are creative and encourage every resident to participant.

The Nursing/Caring Staff another group of incredible people that really care. when they say they care they really do. They grieved alongside our family when my mom passed. Right to the very end the staff attentiveness was exceptional tending to her every need and making sure she was comfortable.

I don't want to mention any staff member or my mom's friends names, in case its not appropriate,

My mother has been a resident of Chelsea New City, formerly Atria since it opened in 2020. Our family was looking forward to a change with the hopes that new Chelsea leadership would be a “breath of fresh air”.
Food and activities need improvement, which I have been told is “a work in progress”. I have not had much interaction with the new Director, but the nursing staff, med tech team & caregiving staff have been very empathetic & wonderful, specifically Nursing Supervisor - Kendra S. RN, Jackie S. LPN, Manushka, George, Marie and Jasmine. They are standout employees.
Executives, Stephanie B and Laura H are always super helpful. We get a warm welcome at the front desk when Omisha & Dasani are there. Richard in maintenance is friendly & helpful. The wait staff are very kind & the cleaning staff to the grounds keepers keep the community looking beautiful. Lenka, concierge at the front desk has been at the community since day one and she is an irreplaceable EXCEPTIONAL employee as she is very professional, supportive and helpful to all residents’ needs.

The Chelsea Sparta has been my mother’s home for the last 2 1/2 years. The care and attention she receives every day is wonderful! The staff truly goes above and beyond! From the nurses and patient care techs, cooks, Sam, the activities director, and everyone else who help make the place run so smoothly- a big Thank you!

I could not be more pleased with the care my mother is receiving at The Chelsea in Sparta. A long and winding story of how we got here but I wouldn't change a thing. And please go take a tour of the facility, I think you'll agree. And my mom will probably show you her room! She's proud to show off her home. And that it truly is, her home and will be your family members' too.

The last 2.5yrs my aunt lived at The Chelsea in the cottage. I cannot thank the team enough for taking such good care of my aunt. They gave her so much love and were always so accommodating. In the final days the team was there with her holding her hand, hugging her, telling her they loved her, praying for her and overall just making sure she wasn't alone. As I sat bedside for almost 24hrs straight the team came in to not only check on my aunt but to make sure I was ok as well. After my aunt passed the team shuffled in for their final goodbyes and you knew they loved her like family. If your loved one needs memory care know they are in good hands at The Chelsea in Sparta.
