Love this place!

I've had both my wedding and son's first birthday party here and could not be happier with the outcome. The facility was beautiful, clean, spacious and very accommodating. They have ample parking and the two different halls I used for each event were perfect for the themes that I wanted to pull off. The decor made it easy to add the personal touches of both my nature themed wedding and my son's wolverine themed party. I was exceptionally pleased with the staff and security there as they were more than helpful and easy to work with. Between the two events, I brought in my own caterer (wedding) and used used the caterer on staff (birthday) and I was pleased in each instance. The kitchen was large and modern and the food arrived to my guests promptly. Overall, I was very satisfied with the space, price, availability and accommodations made for me, my family and guests. This place is still a gem in The Heights!

There should be fans or central air. It was so hot in there we couldn't enjoy ourselves and we had to make fans out of the paper flowers we were given. Sweat was dripping down my face most of the time and I had on a knee length thin dress with one sheet sleeve and one sleeve completely gone!

I went to a black and red Valentine's Day party there. That atmosphere was beautifulit was enough wrong for everybody to dance and we had a good time

A nice, big open space that is perfect for big gatherings. Parking was also easy to find and there was plenty of it. Small bathrooms though with only two stalls - which seems odd for such a large space. No major complaints although I was only a guest at the party. Not sure how the experience was renting it.

I'm giving this place a 2 because their bathroom was immaculate! Clean fresh and decorated nicely. If not for that I would be looking for the negative stars button...... why? You ask, I'll tell you.......IT WAS 110° in this place!!!!!! It was utterly ridiculous that they would charge someone to host their events in such poorly climate conditions. The groundskeeper claimed the air condition & they also had huge industrial fans on. But we found out later on that it was the heat!!! 🤦🏽‍♀️ the bartender that worked the wedding reception was also furious because she didn't make any money because all people wanted was ice water! Oh and FYI this isn't the first time that I've been here under these same conditions......GET IT TOGETHER PLEASE!

I go to the Civic Center twice a year for the Motor City Magic "Oldies Revue." The concert features various (Cleveland and out-of-town) groups singing old Motown songs. The center is great for this venue; the price is affordable, and the sitting is comfortable. They sell food and/or drinks before the show and during intermission. In addition, there are various vendor tables selling jewelry, clothes, and fragrance oils.
