It's a great place to stop and stay.
To relax and rest at the end of the day.
The rooms are clean and spacious too.
This hotel won't disappoint you.
Breakfast is early, and the food is hot.
There is plenty to eat whether you need it or not.
The staff is kind, and the check-in is easy.
There's a Casey's up the road where the pizza is cheesy.

I travel throughout the state for my job. Anytime I need to be within 30 or so minutes of Corning this is my choice of places to stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is always at the desk and so kind. Breakfast room has a decent selection. Only thing that could improve would be some eggs or some hot protein for breakfast. Hot items are waffles or oatmeal.

Didn’t honor past years pricing for an extended stay. The breakfast wasn’t hot. I stay in hotels for a living and was so unimpressed with the service, the level of care from the staff, and the price was absurd for the quality. It isn’t a terrible hotel but it is one of the least bang for your bucks I’ve found throughout the entire state of Iowa. I believe the only reason they charge what they do is because there isn’t another hotel within a 30 minute drive but for $30-$40 less a night I would much rather stay in red oak, which is exactly what I did.

Clean, comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The staff went out of there way to recommend food options nearby. Room was comfortable and in good repair. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area

Corning Hotel was a great place to stay. It was clean and smelled great too. Looks like they just remodeled. |The staff were so kind and helpful! I interacted with 3 different individuals and they were very helpful, personable and went out of their way to do their best to help. No complaining or negative, short responses. (We found this common for the people in the town also). |The bathrooms have great soaps in the shower. There were lots of hangers for the towels. (This is something that is hard to find when we normally stay at hotels or VRBO’s.)|The race track and Primrose were highlights of the trip. Primrose is high end dinning with reasonable prices for the amazing quality, quantity, and variety of food. Very fresh. A must try.

We happened upon this place quite accidentally. We had planned to drive another 30-45 miles for, what would have been, a cheaper option. But after a very nice dinner (at the Primrose Restaurant) and another distraction we decided to stay in Corning. ||I'm not normally drawn to newer, shinier hotels and "included breakfast". I prefer motels and cafes. I like bargains and will tolerate some things that others won't, to find an deal.|This place is so new that nothing is even close to worn out. There is literally nothing that one could complain about on the property. The staff was nice. The building and parking lot were small enough that i didn't feel like i was walking a mile from my room to my car. The breakfast was exactly what one would expect in a "continental breakfast"....all the carbs, including waffles. They did have hard boiled eggs for some protein. And we were grateful to have it since there wasn't a single cafe open on Sunday morning. ||Our stay was short, and the price was a little more than I would normally pay, but it was a bargain considering the abruptness of our choice, not driving any more that night and the included breakfast. It was so very clean, bright and fresh and comfortable. |I would recommend it to anyone.

So I was 43 Mi away in Atlantic Iowa and had seen probably the worst hotel. That is saying a lot because I'm on the road a lot for many years. I started looking along my route to where I was going and it was like a gift from God. I found the Corning Hotel in Corning Iowa. I read some probably the best reviews I had ever seen for a hotel. It was definitely a little pricier than I I'm used to spending but I guarantee it was worth every penny. I called and they said they had truck and trailer parking on the north side. The sweetest young lady named Montana was my front desk clerk. She may be the best I ever met. She is a true asset to this hotel. From the minute I walked in to the minute I left the next day it was perfect. Now it's not the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed in it's not the Four Seasons or even Embassy Suites. Now let me explain, the room and the beds are excellent, the only thing I am saying is the showers and bathroom are good but not extraordinarily good. I have seen hotels with glass doors and soothing, hot, shower massages. However I am not complaining. Just being real. I was real happy LOL. So the breakfast is free and Continental, which means no eggs and bacon Etc but it had hot waffle maker and everything you could ask for. The lobby and Decor of the hotel is top notch. It is a real treasure and I highly recommend it. They told me there's some really good restaurant that delivers but it cuts off at 8:00 p.m.. downtown is not far and there's a couple restaurants, looks like a bar Maybe. The Mexican food restaurant was excellent. I don't know if I'll ever end up there again but if I do I'll certainly stay there again. They really made my trip after being on the road for a week.
