I have nothing but kind things to say about this venue and the beautiful family that runs it! The church is GORGEOUS inside and out with plenty of space for the bride and groom!! I absolutely loved having my wedding here and if I had to go back and choose again this would be #1!! Rachel was so helpful throughout the whole process and very kind. It is extremely noticeable the she cares and wants the day to be perfect! I loved everything about my experience and absolutely adored the little extra details they added to make me feel special!

I had my wedding here in Sept 2024! It was the most beautiful day! Rachel and Amos were so helpful! Answering all our questions and letting us come tour it and come for a mental planning session a week before the wedding! The bridal suite was so fun to get ready in and the groomsmen had a blast in their suite with all the table games! The photos came out SO AMAZING because it’s just so gorgeous out there!

I had the privilege of hosting my sister's baby shower here, and it provided the perfect atmosphere and space. The personal touches and care you receive from a small family-owned business truly stood out.

I also recently attended a wedding here, where the bride and groom were able to have the traditional church-style ceremony they desired. The entire church is stunning, both inside and out. They've preserved the historic charm of this beautiful church while presenting it with the highest standards.

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and will definitely consider the Country Cathedral for future events!

We had our rehearsal dinner and ceremony here for our wedding in October 2023. From the start, Rachel was upfront and communicated so well with us. She communicated with us every step of the way and answered our questions in a timely manner. I cannot begin to describe how many people RAVED about how beautiful this church is. The second I tried on my dress, I pictured myself and my husband in this church. We had a beautiful ceremony and a flower petal send off that I will remember forever. Our guests loved it. Rachel helped keep things moving smoothly. She gave GREAT feedback during our rehearsal that made all the difference in the setup of the ceremony. We truly couldn't have done any of the wedding without her and her helpful hand and wisdom! Bonus: our guests loved the kitties running around outside. If you are looking for somewhere to have your wedding, we HIGHLY recommend having it at The Country Cathedral!! Rachel and her family really made all the difference in this beautiful church. We continue to tell all of our friends how amazing this place is!!

We have nothing but great things to say about our time at The Country Cathedral! The absolute beauty of the church speaks for itself, pictures don't do it justice! We couldn't have asked for a better location for our special day. The thing that stands out most when reflecting back on our special day is the amount of support we received from Rachel and her entire family! They were there to help with as much or as little as we needed from setup for the rehearsal dinner to teardown after the reception. Weddings can be stressful, and Rachel and her family were there to provide whatever support they could do to ease the worry!

Country Cathedral is one the prettiest church's I've had the privilege to photograph at. It's owned by local residents who make the church feel like home. The Greene Family made sure to check in multiple times during the day to make sure everything is running smoothly. Most churches I photograph do not have the "prettiest" getting ready room but the Greene family created the most beautiful bridal suite! They have so many personal touches, you won't be disappointed! I hope I can photograph there again!

I would highly recommend County Cathedral!!! A gorgeous church inside and out in a country setting for great photo ops. Spacious bridal party dressing rooms. Well lit with mirrored stations to do hair and makeup for the women and to keep the guys entertained there's a large screen TV couched area, video games, foosball and pool tables. Includes a beautiful reception hall with large kitchen. Rachel and Amos were so helpful and are right there on site. Check out the extra services they off to make your day an easy one. We had a wonderful experience using this venue!!!

Amos, Rachel, and their boys were fantastic! I loved working with Rachel, she was so friendly and helpful every step of the way. Day of so many things went wrong, but Rachel was right there to help and very understanding. The Country Cathedral provided a great support system and everything a couple could want. They were genuinely excited about our wedding and marriage and I didn’t worry about a bunch of little fees at the end of it. The character of the building and the love of this small family had such an Iowa feel that can’t be found at any other venue. As a bride, I had everything I could have asked for and it made the day better!
